     The weekend.
Man, do I love the weekend. The main reason I like the weekend is because I get two days off from school. Well, this week I got 5 days off, and you know why.
During the three days away from school, I didn't see Chloe much because I was grounded, so I was usually in my room or outside. She was usually downstairs watching TV.
I woke up Saturday morning at around 10 AM, got out of bed, and went downstairs for breakfast. Chloe and my mom were already down there, and it looked like mom had made breakfast without me.
"Why didn't I get told you were making bacon and eggs this morning?" I asked.
"You were sleeping, and your grounded," my mom explained.
"I don't know why I'm in so much trouble. I mean, all I did was knock over a cake."
"Yeah, you knocked over the vice principal's birthday cake, fell on it, and got it all over you," my mom said.
"Well, when you put it like that, it seems like a really big deal. It's just a stupid cake."
"That is why you are still in trou-"
"Sierra, your so rude! Like why would you even do that?! With Jacob?! You know that I love Jacob! Not you!" Chloe interrupted.
"I was just having fun! And Chloe, Jacob is way out of your league! He's two years older than you, and obviously he doesn't even like you! He likes me!"
"Sierra, go to your room! Now!" My mom yelled.
"Fine with me! I'd rather be in my room with nothing than down here with you!"
I ran upstairs. As I entered my room, I slammed the door and jumped on my bed. I don't really regret what I said because I proved my point, but I kinda felt bad. What I said to Chloe was rude. And that argument definitely wasn't going to help with getting out of being grounded.

At 11 PM, I tried going to bed, but I couldn't sleep, so I went downstairs to the living room to watch TV. After about 10 minutes, I heard a knock on the window next to the couch, where I was sitting. It scared the crap out of me! I turned to look out the window, and I saw Jacob. I slowly opened the window so no one would hear me.
"Jacob!" I whispered.
"What? I just wanted to see you! I snuck out of my house!"
"You snuck out of your house?! Are you crazy?!"
"Actually, yeah. I am."
"Why didn't you try coming over earlier! It's 11 PM!"
"I don't know. Now, come one!"
"You know how much trouble I would be in if my mom found out that I snuck out?!"
"Just come on! It'll be fun!"
"You are such a troublemaker! Where are we going?!"
"Let's go to the park. It's about two blocks down from your house."
"Okay, but I have to be very quiet."
I turned the TV off, and climbed through the window. Jacob grabbed my hand, and he led the way until we got to the sidewalk. We walked for about 5 minutes, then we got to the park. He took the lead again, walking to the swings. Jacob sat in a swing, and I sat in one next to him.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" He asked me.
"I don't know. What do you want to talk about?" I replied.
"Everything."
"What do you mean?"
"There is something I want to tell you."
"Okay, what is it?"
"Sierra, I really like you. I know that we've only known each other for like 5 days, but those 5 days have been so awesome! That whole cake mess was so fun! Even though we are both grounded, I still don't regret it. I was going to tell you that I liked you in the office after we got the cake off, but the principal interrupted me telling us to shut up."
"Oh.... Jacob, I didn't know that you liked me that way. I don't know if I fee-"
"I knew telling you that I liked you was a bad idea!" he got off the swing and started walking to the playground, "Why do I always say things I don't need to say?!"
"Jacob, wait!" I walked after him, "I like you too, but I don't feel like I am ready for a relationship yet."
"Sierra. I like you. A lot. I can't help it."
"Jacob. I like you too. But we haven't even known each other for a we-"
I had to stop in the middle of my sentence because Jacob pressed his lips against mine. I pulled away.
"Jacob, I'm sorry. I'm just not ready to be with anyone right now," I said, then ran away.
"Sierra! Please don't go!" he started running after me.
"I'm sorry Jacob!" I exclaimed as I kept running.
He finally caught up to me, and grabbed my hand, and turned me around.
"Sierra. Listen to me. I'm sorry I kissed you. I shouldn't have. I know I'm an idiot. And I'm really sorry."
"Your not an idiot Jacob. And I'm sorry I ran off."
     I hugged him.
"I have to go back to my house now," I told Jacob.
"Okay. Well, my house is he opposite way."
"I'll see you at school Monday," I said.
"Okay, bye," Jacob said.
We hugged one more time, then we went our separate ways.
