The Movies

It was Friday.
Throughout the week, I was talking to Gabe and Jacob. Gabe didn't seem to care when he saw me talking to Jacob, but Jacob acted jealous when I was talking to Gabe.
My mom decided to un-ground me today instead of the coming Monday, so when I got home from school, I could get my phone back.
Also, I was planning on going to the movies that night with my friend, Lauren. We were going to see the new movie, Split. We were going to go at 9:00 PM, and the movie started at 9:15 PM.

"Mom! Can I have my phone now?!" I shouted to her as I walked through the front door after school.
"I don't know, have you been good enough?" She said sarcastically.
"Yes, I have! I have all A's and one B! I deserve my phone! I need it anyway for the movies."
"Yeah, here you go," my mom said as she came downstairs and handed me my phone.
"Thanks!" I gave here a hug.

At 8:45 PM, my mom and I drove to Lauren's house to pick her up for the movie. After the movie, she was going to stay the night. Once we got to the movie, my mom just dropped us off and drove away.
Once we got our tickets, we walked over to the counter to get our popcorn. As we walked over there...
"Omg! Sierra!" Lauren exclaimed.
"What Lauren?" I asked.
"Jacob with Gabe just walked in and are getting tickets for a movie!"
"Really?!" I said as I turned around. And there they were, now walking over to us.
"Hey, Sierra!" Gabe said to me.
"Hey! What movie are you and Jacob watching?" I asked him.
"The new movie Split."
"Really?! Me and Lauren are going to watch it too!"
"Awesome! Maybe all four of us could sit by each other?"
"Yeah."
"Alright, let's go!" Jacob said.
We got into the theater, and sat in the very top row. Their were 6 seats, and we filled the four seats in the middle. From left to right, it was Gabe, then me, then Lauren, then Jacob. It seemed like Lauren and Jacob hit it off. They were talking a lot before the movie started. What if Jacob likes her more than me? Wait, why should I even be thinking that?! I like Gabe. And obviously, he likes me.
About halfway through the movie, I looked over and saw Lauren rest her head on Jacob's shoulder. I got jealous, so I grabbed Gabe's hand. He looked at me, smiled, then shoved popcorn in his mouth. I laughed really loud, and a woman in front of me went "Shhhh!!" Gosh, she seemed grouchy.
After I laughed, Jacob looked at me, and smiled. I smiled back.
The movie ended, and me and Gabe walked out of the theater, followed by Jacob and Lauren. Me and Gabe were sitting at a table in the lobby area, waiting for our rides. Jacob and Lauren were sitting at a table next to us, and I could hear them talking.
"So you and Gabe are friends?" Lauren asked.
"Yeah, we started talking this past week," Jacob answered.
"Oh, that's cool," Lauren said.
"Yeah, and maybe one day we could go on a double date with Gabe and Sierra," Jacob said.
"Yeah, but you and me aren't together and Sierra and Gabe aren't together, either," Lauren replied.
"Not yet...." Jacob said, smirking.
All four of us waited in the lobby for about 10 minutes, then our rides came. Gabe was spending the night with Jacob, and, like I said earlier, Lauren was spending the night with me.
I hugged Gabe and Lauren hugged Jacob before the four of us left the theater.
Once Lauren and I got to my house, we went up to my room, watched TV and talked.
"Tonight was so fun!" Lauren exclaimed as we got into my room.
"Yeah, it was." I said kind of gloomy as I shut my bedroom door.
"Why do you sound sad? You like Gabe, right?" Lauren asked.
"I'm not sad, is just tired. And yeah, I do like Gabe, a lot," I replied.

The rest of the night, we talked, did fun YouTube challenges, and watched scary movies. The whole night, I was thinking. Thinking about Gabe. And Jacob. And asking myself all these questions. Do I really like Gabe? Maybe I did when I first saw him, but am I just trying to get with him to make Jacob jealous? Does Jacob like Lauren more than me? Does Jacob even like me? I don't even know anymore....
