Sebastian Stan x reader

Requested by @opieisanugget, hope you enjoy! I might cry writing this, so just forewarning you that this is going to be super angsty, thus the MCR themed title. Also!! The reader here has the ability to be pregnant, but I still use they/them pronouns because not everyone with the ability to give birth is female. Please note that.

//TW: contains scenes of deaths and violence, reader death//

Pain radiated through your abdomen, spreading quickly throughout the rest of your body. It was agonizing, paralyzing even. Your weakened knees buckled underneath you as your body slumped to the ground. With a shuttering breath, your shaking hands scrambled to press against the bullet wound in your side. You felt the sticky crimson blood immediately coating your skin, and it took everything in you not to wretch right then and there.

The sound of bullets and urgent shouts from either side of the battle field became muffled in your ears. It felt like you were being pulled underwater, your chest tightening and your lungs refusing to accept the oxygen you brought them. Everything was going in slow motion, but it no longer seemed real. You felt like a fish on land, helpless and fading away. Your blood ran cold as the realization hit you. You were dying. This was it. After all that you had been through, everything you had done, this is where it would all end. Never would you speak to your husband Sebastian again. Never would you hold your baby girl in your arms. Never would you hear her laugh and giggle as Sebastian played a game of peek a boo with her over the bars of her crib. Never again.

A sob wracked your body violently. You couldn't die here. You hadn't raised baby Rosa. You hadn't had your tenth anniversary with Sebastian. You hadn't grown old together and watched your little girl graduate and grow up. You wouldn't be a part of their lives anymore. You were leaving them... Forever.

The tears streaming down your cheeks left streaks as they mixed in with the blood and dirt already coating your skin. Your body began to grow numb as the shock settled in. You knew you wouldn't last much longer, and truthfully you weren't even sure why you were holding on for as long as you were. You had nothing to gain by remaining here in this moment. There was no one to say goodbye to, nothing to do as your bottom lip quivered with fear of what was to come. Soon enough you would be pulled into the murky depths of the afterlife, and there was nothing you could do about it.

Undecipherable blubbers passed through your chapped and bloody lips. What was supposed to be pleading words to anyone who was listening had become a scrambled mixture of sounds and whimpers that hit the air and dissipated as they found no ears that would accept them. You forehead was slick with sweat, but that was the least of your worries at the moment. You couldn't bring yourself to care about the dirt and dust that clung to your skin and coated your throat, leaving a scratchy and clogged feeling each time you tried to swallow. You heaved in a shuttering breath that just barely reached your lungs before you were overrun by a violent coughing fit. You felt blood flooding your mouth and coating your teeth. The metallic tang rested on your tongue and sent an uneasy feeling into the pit of your stomach. You hurled a glob of spit and blood onto the ground in an effort to rid your mouth of the taste of blood, but it was to no avail. The taste and smell still lingered through the crimson liquid that resided in between your teeth and on the back of your tongue.

Your mind was spinning and the world began to sway. You tried to maneuver your body to the side to counteract the swaying earth, but you simply ended up collapsing fully on your side. The ground wasn't moving, you were. In that moment you swore you could feel the force of the Earth as it hurtled around the sun. Your heart dropped to your stomach and you clung to the ground in hopes that it would slow down.
