Chapter 22 - The Wrestlemania 34 Trip Pt.2

The rookies boarded the plane to go to Minneapolis, Minnesota and found their seats. There were six seats in a row split into two sets of three by the aisle way which ran the full length of the plane.

AJ, Seth and Sami were in one row meanwhile Becky and Finn were in the row behind them with an empty seat beside them.

Becky Lynch- "I hope that seat stays empty so that we don't have some weirdo beside us."

Finn Balor- "Fingers crossed."

Finn was hoping that he would be able to spend some one on one time with Becky on the trip. That was the reason why he wanted Becky to go so badly.

The flight was almost ready to take off when a man just under six feet tall, with his hood up, a beard and sunglasses on got on the plane and went to his seat which was right beside Finn.

He sat down and pulled his hood down and took off his sunglasses.

Finn Balor- "Excuse me sir I think I know who you are. You're AJ Styles."

AJ Styles- "The one and only. How's it going kid?"

Finn Balor- "I'm doing well thanks for asking."

AJ Styles- "So do you want an autograph or something?"

Finn Balor- "Well that would be a little weird getting an autograph from a fellow WWE Wrestler."

AJ Styles- "You work for WWE too?"

Finn Balor- "Yeah I'm a part of the NXT Developmental System that Triple H runs."

AJ Styles- "No kidding? He's always talking about all you kids. Are you Seth? He said Seth was his favourite."

Finn Balor- "No I'm not Seth I'm Finn."

AJ Styles- "Oh ok he has said only good things about you buddy. Maybe one day me and you will mix it up huh?"

Finn Balor- "It'd be an honour."

AJ Styles- "Well I make it a mission of mine to catch up on sleep on flights. It's been great talking to you but could you wake me up when the plane is preparing to land?"

Finn Balor- "Sure thing AJ."

AJ put his sunglasses back on and put his hood back up and dosed off into a deep sleep.

Throughout the flight Roman and Seth were playing games such as tic-tac-toe and connect four in a jotter Seth brought with him, AJ and Becky were both asleep, Sami was playing an old GameBoy and Finn was paranoid that he would forget to remind AJ to wake up and so sat with his head turned to AJ just staring at him, rarely blinking.

Seth and Roman were messing around in their seats just trying to make each other laugh as much as possible. Seth kept throwing pieces of paper at Becky who was sleeping. Finn was too busy watching AJ Styles to defend his friend.

The flight went on and eventually Finn needed to go to the toilet.

Finn pulled at Becky's arm.

Finn Balor- "Becky watch Styles while I go take a leak."

Becky Lynch- "Ugh."

Finn crept passed AJ and to the toilet were after finishing his business spent three or four minutes fixing his hair and doing his best AJ Styles impression into that same mirror.

Just as he came out the plane's toilet turbulence started and the plane started bouncing around and rattling in the air. Finn watched as he ran back to his seat many passengers on board starting to get scared for their lives.

Finn made it back to his row and was stepping over AJ Styles to get to his seat when a large amount of turbulence affected the plane. Finn fell onto Styles' lap and Styles woke up with a groan.

AJ Styles- "I know you're a big fan but you're getting a bit close and creepy there man."

Finn Balor- "I am so sorry AJ I didn't mean it."

AJ Styles- "Stop apologising and just get off my lap already."

Finn sunk down into his seat so embarrassed by what had happened.

Becky noticed him and his facial expression.

Becky Lynch(whisper)- "Finn, it'll be all good don't worry about it. I'm sure one day when you've made it in WWE you and AJ will have a laugh about this."

Finn Balor(whisper)- "I just hope he forgets being honest."

The plane landed in Minneapolis and as usual it was cold. The trainees got their bags from baggage claim and stood outside the airport waiting for Paul Levesque to pick them up.

Paul pulled up in his big black Range Rover and the rookies were relieved to see him and his warm car.

Paul Levesque- "Good too see you all how was the plane ride?"

Seth Rollins- "Finn gave AJ Styles a lap dance."

Finn Balor- "Shut your mouth Seth in your relationship you give the lap dances."

Seth Rollins- "At least I'm with a seventeen year old girl instead of a forty year old man."

Paul Levesque- "Enough of the arguing I don't want to hear this. For all I know you kids are innocent."

Paul drove the rookies to the hotel that they'd be staying at and they got there at 8pm very tired.

Paul advised that the rookies get a good nights sleep because they'd be going to the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony tomorrow night and they'd need energy for the celebration.

The rookies obliged to Paul's wishes and were all in bed by 9pm that night.
