Chapter 59 - TLC Plans

Saturday -11/12/18- It was a Saturday which meant that, traditionally, the rookies did not need to go to the Performance Centre for training but this was no ordinary day.

Roman was woken up by a wide awake Seth who had come to his room to shake him and awake him.

Roman Reigns- "It's one of my days off, what do you want?"

Seth Rollins- "I got a text from Paul saying that I had to go to the Performance Centre today and I'm checking if anyone else got the same message."

Roman Reigns- "Let me check."

Roman looked at his phone and saw that he had a text from Paul too.

Roman Reigns- "Looks like I'm going with you, I got the same text."

Dean Ambrose- "You boys going to see Paul too?"

Roman and Seth looked over to the door to see Dean stood, leaning against the doorframe, in his jeans and a hoodie.

Seth Rollins- "You're unusually bright today."

Dean Ambrose- "Don't bum me out."

Dean, Roman and Seth got ready to go down to the Performance Centre. They got the bus there and, as soon as they went in the door, they saw Vince McMahon and Paul Levesque stood together.

Vince McMahon- "It's good to see you guys again, we have a massive opportunity for you guys for the upcoming TLC Pay-Per-View."

Paul Levesque- "If you could follow me round into my office then we can get into more detail."

The five went to Paul's office and, when they got there, they realised that it wouldn't be just the five of them.

In Paul's office sat, WWE Superstars, Daniel Bryan, Kane and Ryback.

Paul Levesque- "It is a pleasure to inform all of you that, at the TLC Pay-Per-View, we will have the first ever six man tag team TLC match."

Vince McMahon- "Kane, Bryan and Ryback, you three will team up to face the Shield."

Paul Levesque- "We just need to establish a few things. You guys can literally do anything that you want in the match in terms of spots. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns are winning, preferably by pinning Bryan and you guys will be given around twenty minutes to get your stuff in."

Vince McMahon- "We want you guys to set the match out and let us know where the weapons need to be laid out for the match to flow smoothly so get talking. You're not leaving here until it's all done."

Vince and Paul left the room and that meant that the six men in the TLC match were left.

Seth Rollins- "It's really cool to be working alongside guys like you three who have so much experience in wrestling."

Roman Reigns- "We really hope that we are not stepping on your toes or territory by getting put over."

Kane- "That's just the business, don't worry, we are going to tear the roof off of the place."

Daniel Bryan- "I'm more than happy to flip around and put it all on the line for you guys. It would be great for us personally if we can get a five star classic out of some teenagers."

Dean Ambrose- "And don't go easy on us, for lack of a better term, if we fuck up, then you need to put us in check."

Kane- "We will. Even if it requires a stiff shot with a chair or a punch."

Seth Rollins- "And we want to earn our stripes, so to speak, so we will take big risks and bumps no problem."

Daniel Bryan- "These matches always seem to flow better when everyone wants to work together which can be difficult in multi-man matches like this. Trust me, I know, I've been in some Money in the Bank matches."

Ryback- "Let's get planning then?"

The six were in the room for hours, bouncing ideas back and forth. Some of them they decided to throw away but others they were adamant that they needed to put in the match to make it as good as possible.

Daniel Bryan- "The big Ladder spot that you wanted Seth, we can move that to Ryback chasing you up the stage and up a ladder and then you get thrown off and get put throw all the tables up beside the stage and then we finish the match in the ring with Dean and Roman putting me through the table."

Seth Rollins- "That sounds good to me, my lady involvement will be going through the tables and I just lay there afterwards?"

Kane- "Yes, pretty much, then Dean and Roman, after the match, be sure to go back and pick Seth up from the wreckage and carry them out. We really need to stress that you three are a brotherhood with that pack mentality. You'll die for each other and no man is left behind."

Daniel Bryan- "A word of advice, if you get hurt during these matches don't show any signs that you are hurt. If your leg hurts, try and sell a shoulder injury. If you get busted open, there's medical glue in a bag under the ring that I'll be putting down there."

Dean Ambrose- "Also, we should make sure that all tables, ladders and chairs are set up properly so that none of them collapse on us and make us look stupid."

Ryback- "Looks like we have everything sorted for the match. I'm so excited to do this thing."

Roman Reigns- "You're excited? Bro, it's our first match, it's at a Pay-Per-View, it's a TLC match and we are in there alongside three great workers. If you are excited then I'm on a whole new level of excitement."

Kane- "One more thing, if you are in pain and feel the need to swear to relieve yourself of the pain, put your face down on the floor and whisper to yourself so that nobody can see your face or hear you."

Seth Rollins- "I feel like I've learned so much here today."

Roman Reigns- "Well, guys, we will see you at TLC. Feel free to text or call either me or Seth anytime about the match, Dean is selective about when he answers his phone so don't rely on him getting a message to us."

Daniel Bryan- "See you guys around."

Roman, Dean and Seth left the room and hunted around the Performance Centre for Paul and Vince. Eventually, they found them looking on at a class being taken by Sara Del Rey. Dean tapped Paul's shoulder.

Dean Ambrose- "We got everything sorted with the other guys, the match is set, we are going to blow the roof off of the place."

Paul Levesque- "Good to see that you have confidence in yourself. I'll talk to you guys soon. If you have it all sorted out then you can go home if you really want to. I've got more work to do here."

The Shield decided to go back to the apartments via a bus ride but, on the way home, came to a realisation.

Dean Ambrose- "Do you guys realise that it's only two weeks until Christmas?"

Roman Reigns- "This year has gone by much quicker than last year."

Seth Rollins- "This year definitely felt shorter."

Roman Reigns- "Maybe because we are being productive and are mature adults."

Dean burst out laughing.

Dean Ambrose- "You're pulling my leg, right?"

Seth Rollins- "We will need to go Christmas shopping for everyone soon. I think AJ already has her presents sorted."

Dean Ambrose- "Paige has some of her presents wrapped and Nikki told me that she has all of hers done too so we are really slacking."

Roman Reigns- "We are too busy being  badasses and kicking ass all over America."

Seth Rollins- "We will last minute shop when we get back from TLC, don't worry."

Roman Reigns- "That sounds good to me."

The Shield were ready for Tables, Ladders and Chairs.
