Chapter 35 - Readjusting

Friday -8/10/18- All of the rookies, except Dean, had training to go to (even Paige, Roman and Seth even though they only got back from Nevada that morning).

They all left on the bus while Dean slept in late as there was no need to get up.

On the bus Paige was telling everyone about how she found Dean, what he said to her and what she said to him.

Sasha Banks- "That's adorable, who knew that Dean had that side to him?"

Nikki Bella- "I always thought that deep down he might but it would take a very important and special person to unlock that side."

Sami Zayn- "I just hope that you two are happy together."

Becky Lynch- "I always thought that you two would get together one day and I'm so glad I was right."

Seth Rollins- "Do you think you two will get married?"

AJ slapped Seth on the arm.

AJ Lee- "Seth, you can't just ask stuff like that so soon."

Paige Bevis- "I've never felt this way about someone before. I'd appreciate if you guys didn't put so much pressure on the two of us."

The rookies started their training for the day and walked in the Performance Centre and saw Paul Levesque.

Paul Levesque- "It's good to see you guys again. Paige, Roman and Seth thanks for all of your work in Nevada."

Seth Rollins- "No problem, it was an honour."

Roman Reigns- "It helped get Dean and Paige together."

Paul looked at Paige and smiled.

Paul Levesque- "Thank god you two finally got together, we were all wondering when it was going to happen, even Stephanie was curious."

Paige blushed and went to work out on the gym machines.

Later that day, back at the apartments, Dean eventually woke up and looked in the mirror.

Dean Ambrose- "You're looking good, time up to go tell Brooke how you feel."

Dean got changed and made a slow walk to Brooke's dad's shop.

As soon as he walked through the door Hull was immediately in his face.

Hull Cogan- "There you are you rat bastard!"

Dean Ambrose- "If you fucking touch me I'm calling the police!"

Hull Cogan- "You think I won't do it?"

Dean Ambrose- "Where's Brooke I need to talk to her."

Hull Cogan- "She left for college in California. She's gone, Dean."

Dean Ambrose- "If you call her, tell her I said that I hope she has fun in life."

Hull Cogan- "I miss her."

Dean Ambrose- "Take care, Hull."

Dean walked out of the shop and went back to the apartments. Outside of his room stood Shane McMahon.

Dean Ambrose- "Shane, are you lost?"

Shane McMahon- "Vince told me to come and make sure that you had actually come back from your little escapade."

Dean Ambrose- "Little escapade? I went to fucking Nevada."

Shane McMahon- "How did you make it there?"

Dean Ambrose- "It's not that far."

Shane just looked at Dean with a blank expression.

Dean Ambrose- "What I'm sensing here is that Vince doesn't trust Paul's word and needed someone that he trusted to confirm I was back."

Shane McMahon- "I never thought about that. You could be right."

Dean Ambrose- "Was there anything else you wanted to say."

Shane McMahon- "Apparently, Vince wants you, Seth and Roman to start on NXT by the end of the year."

Dean Ambrose- "That's pretty crazy. I hope that's true."

Shane McMahon- "I heard Paul suspended you from training."

Dean Ambrose- "Yeah, for two weeks."

Shane McMahon- "As soon as you get back, I assume that Paul will tell you, Seth and Roman more about the plans."

Dean Ambrose- "Well in excited for that. Thanks for checking up on me Shane."

Shane McMahon- "No problem."

Shane and Dean high fived and Shane walked down the corridor but just before Shane walked down the stairs he turned back and shouted to Dean.

Shane McMahon- "Dean! Between me and you, stop doing stupid shit."

Dean Ambrose- "I'm working on it!"

Dean laughed and went back into his room.

Back at the Performance Centre, after wrestling training, Paul called Seth and Roman into his office to confirm what Shane told Dean earlier in the day.

Seth and Roman sat at his desk.

Paul Levesque- "I am very pleased with how you guys have progressed in the system and I think that it is time to get together a plan to put you guys on NXT TV."

Seth Rollins- "Holy crap."

Paul Levesque- "Right now, I feel that it is better if the two of you and Dean debut together as a group so that any weaknesses are hidden. Dean can be the mouthpiece, Roman the Powerhouse and Seth the Aerialist. We just need to work out the characters you will portray, your entrance music, your ring gear and your entrance and then you'll be good to debut. We will start working on all of that when Dean gets back from his training suspension. When you guys debut I don't want you to disappoint me."

Roman Reigns- "I can promise you that we won't let you down. Thank you so much for this opportunity."

Paul Levesque- "You guys deserve it, especially for putting up with Dean."

The three shared a laugh and Roman left. Seth stayed back with a question.

Seth Rollins- "Do you know when any of the girls will move up?"

Paul Levesque- "When they are ready."

Seth Rollins- "That's such a BS answer, come on."

Paul Levesque- "Just be happy that I'm moving you up. Be concerned with yourself."

Seth left the room and sighed. He didn't ask about the girls because he was concerned about himself. He was concerned about AJ.

If Seth was touring with NXT then their time together would dramatically go down and potentially tear them apart.

Authors Note: Dean is back and adjusting in Orlando and has completely gotten rid of Brooke and will be joining the NXT roster soon alongside Seth and Roman. Things are looking good for him.
