WWE Develops "Year 2018"

Chapter 1 - Back To Work

Thursday -1/1/18- It was the first day of the new year meaning that it was back to work for Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Paige Bevis, Nikki Bella and in a sense it was back to work for AJ Lee who had been gone for five months. In contrast it was the first day of work for the new kids on the block Finn Balor, Becky Lynch, Sami Zayn and Sasha Banks.

The new kids weren't very informed on the route of how to get to the Performance Centre but luckily they had those who were there last year to show them where to get the bus and what time to get the bus to get there.

They all got on the bus at 8am as per usual and it was clear that everyone was excited to be there, although there were some nerves from a few.

They arrived and Paul Levesque was stood at the entrance waiting for them.

Paul Levesque- "I'm so glad that all of you made it here safely. To the newest entries into the developmental program welcome to the program. To the others welcome back to the program especially AJ Lee. Those who were here last year I assume you guys know where everything is so you can go ahead and get started but the newer ones you come with me and I'll show you around."

Roman, Nikki, Paige, Dean, AJ and Seth all went by Paul and went about business as usual whereas Finn, Sasha, Becky and Sami followed Paul Levesque to get a glimpse at all of the equipment and resources the Performance Centre had to offer. Everything from the weights room to the promo room to the cafeteria impressed them and they couldn't believe how smoothly everything was run and how advanced it was.

Finn and Sami were like siamese twins throughout the tour of the Centre and didn't leave each other's side. They knew that if they were going to survive here that they'd need to stick together and that is exactly what they planned to do.

As Paul continued giving the newer people the tour it was time for those who were in the program last year to go to wrestling training with Booker T. They walked along the corridor and into the room where Booker T was stood in one of the training rings.

Dean Ambrose- "Are we in some alternate universe where Booker T can actually stand up in a ring because from my knowledge you spent a lot of time face down on the ring mat!"

Booker T- "Dean I see you haven't changed in the last month."

Dean Ambrose- "I'm guessing your shitty treatment of me hasn't changed in the last month."

Booker T- "Good guess Dean. Everyone else get jogging on the spot for five minutes. Dean get running on the spot for thirty, slow down and I'll double it."

They all got to work and as per usual Dean was forced to work much harder than everyone else just like last year. After the running alone Dean was tired and ready to finish his training but was forced to keep going and as he did it Booker T trash talked him.

Booker T- "Come on Dean are you getting tired?"

Dean Ambrose- "Die you dick."

Booker T- "I enjoy watching you suffer."

Dean Ambrose- "You enjoy watching seventeen year old males work out and sweat. If that's what you're into who am I to judge?"

Booker T- "Shut your mouth Ambrose and keep running."

Dean Ambrose- "You know what fuck that. I'm going to stop running and there is nothing you can do to get me working again. Try it. It won't work."

Booker T- "Get back to work!"

Dean Ambrose- "How's no for an answer Booker?"

Paul Levesque brought the newer ones into the wrestling training room to show them around and saw the conversation between Dean and Booker going on but Dean and Booker didn't know Paul was there.

Booker T- "I'm sick and tired of your backchat Ambrose."

Dean Ambrose- "And I'm sick and tired of you having a bias against me and forcing me to do heavier workloads than anyone else."

Booker T- "You deserve it you little pussy punk."

Dean Ambrose- "And you deserve a punch in the face."

Paul Levesque- "Hey! What the hell is going on?"

Booker T- "Nothing Mr Levesque."

Paul Levesque- "Really? Because it looks like you are giving Dean more to do here than everyone else and I define that as bullying. We had to fire Bill DeMott a couple of years ago for bullying students and you are no different. Booker you're fired. I want you to pack your things and get the hell out of my building."

Dean Ambrose- "Hasta la vista Booker."

Paul Levesque- "Ambrose keep it shut, don't make me start on you."

Booker got his bag and walked out explicitly stating his discontent.

AJ Lee- "Um Mr Levesque who is going to train us?"

Paul Levesque- "I will. You kids might as well just go home. I need to call my wife and make very important arrangements for the future. Tomorrow I want all of you to work out in the weights rooms, skip wrestling training and just go straight to Chris Jericho for your circuit training. I will start teaching all of you guys on Monday including the new kids."

Paul Levesque got his phone out as he walked out the room and started making very important calls. The room was silent. Nobody knew what to say. They were all stood silent and confused.

Next Monday would be an interesting day for all ten of the trainees.

Authors Note: It's the first Chapter and already there is huge drama. Booker T isn't training anyone anymore and Paul Levesque will take over his duties. This should be interesting.
