Chapter 11 - Picking Teams

Monday -24/2/18- The rookies showed up for training in the morning as usual but were instructed to go straight to Paul Levesque instead of doing weight training as they usually did.

They walked in rather confused yet curious as to why Paul wanted them there.

Paul Levesque- "Hey guys good to see you. If you could all come into the ring and sit down that'd be great."

The rookies did just as Paul said.

Paul Levesque- "Basically the ten of you will be divided into two teams and will compete against each other in a series of sporting challenges designed to work on co-operation, teamwork and confidence."

Sasha Banks- "So that's it just challenges? That sounds easy and fun."

Paul Levesque- "Yes it's that easy so I've been evaluating all of you to see who the two best in the class are just overall as performers and in my opinion the two best are Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose so you two will be team captains and will get to pick your teams. Seth you are captaining Team Red and Dean you are captaining Team Blue so here are your captains armbands."

The colour of the armbands were the colour of whichever team the individual was captaining (Dean's armband was blue, Seth's was red).

Paul Levesque- "Rock, paper, scissors to see who gets the first pick."

Dean and Seth did rock, paper, scissors with Seth using rock and Dean using scissors.

Paul Levesque- "Seth, you therefore get first pick who do you want."

Seth Rollins- "I'll pick Finn."

Dean Ambrose- "I'll take Roman then."

Seth Rollins- "I'll take Sami."

Paul Levesque- "Picking the guys over the girls, really guys?"

Dean Ambrose- "It's not my fault the guys are better."

Sasha Banks- "Hold up! That is not true, all of us could whoop all of your asses!"

Becky Lynch- "Yeah I agree with Sasha! Us lasses could beat you guys in any competition."

Roman Reigns- "Dick size contest then, right now."

Paul Levesque- "Roman watch the language."

Roman Reigns- "Sorry but you know what I mean."

Paige Bevis- "You five guys really think you are just better than us five girls?"

Seth Rollins- "Yes."

Finn Balor- "Of course."

Paul Levesque- "Do you guys want to change the contest so it's Boys V Girls?"

The Rookies- "Yes!"

Paul Levesque- "Fine with me, either Seth or Dean give your armband to Paige since I believe she is the best female we have here."

Dean Ambrose- "Seth give them yours I'm staying captain of this team."

Seth Rollins- "I don't think so. I'm going to be the captain of our team."

Dean Ambrose- "The funny thing is you won't be since I'm captaining MY team so give them your armband."

Sami Zayn- "Guys calm down we need to stay united. Seth just give away your armband. Dean is confident, shows true leadership skills and is a great talker so I think he's the better choice."

Roman Reigns- "Agreed."

Seth Rollins- "Fine but I'm co-captain."

Paige Bevis- "Who cares? Just give me my armband."

Paige put on the red armband.

Paul Levesque- "Team Red go to my left and Team Blue go to my right."

The group split up into their respective team.

Paul Levesque- "For the rest of this week you will only train with your teammates, don't socially mix with the others, they are your enemy, you now hate them. Is that clear?"

The rookies all nodded.

Paul Levesque- "Could the captains step forward to the middle of the ring."

Dean and Paige stepped forward.

Paul Levesque- "I want you to keep your teams stable and in check and I want a clean competition with no cheating, do you agree to these terms?"

Paige Bevis- "Yes."

Dean Ambrose- "Sure."

Paul Levesque- "Good. Shake hands."

Dean and Paige shook hands.

Paul Levesque- "Now go train with your teams. The sporting challenges start next Monday and end on the Friday."

Becky Lynch- "This will be easy, we will beat them and gain supremacy and bragging rights."

The rookies started to leave the ring.

Paul Levesque- "Matter of fact stay here for a minute. Be honest. Who is feeling some slight pressure?"

A couple of the rookies put their hands up.

Paul Levesque- "Ok I lied to you guys, this isn't just for supremacy and bragging rights, the winning team gets to fly to Minneapolis, Minnesota for Wrestlemania 34 and will be backstage for the event. Now that right there is pressure."

Paul walked out and the rookies just watched him as they thought about going to Wrestlemania 34, their first Wrestlemania backstage.

The trash talk started between the two teams as they knew this wouldn't be a fight, it'd be a war.
