Chapter 20 - Change Of Plans

Sunday -21/3/18- It was a week before Wrestlemania 34 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and the guys had already starting packing for their trip.

Roman and Seth were in Seth's room. Seth needed help packing but AJ was out and so Roman offered his help.

Seth Rollins- "Do you think I should take a hat with me?"

Roman Reigns- "Bro, it's Minneapolis, it's always cold, of course."

Seth Rollins- "Ok I have twenty hats, which should I take?"

Roman Reigns- "A black one. It'll go with anything."

Seth Rollins- "I'm glad I have you as a friend, Roman."

Meanwhile, Dean had just woken up in his room. Dean wasn't one for packing ahead of time and so didn't have to go through the long process Seth was going through.

Instead of that Dean went across the street to the convenience store to get a couple of essentials. He was looking for bread when Brooke came over to him.

Brooke Cogan- "Hey Dean what are you doing here?"

Dean Ambrose- "Just grabbing some things."

Brooke Cogan- "Cool I need to ask you something."

Dean Ambrose- "Go ahead."

Brooke Cogan- "I have a school dance next Sunday and I wanted to know if you'd like to be my date?"

Dean Ambrose- "I don't go to school and haven't since I was fourteen."

Brooke Cogan- "That doesn't matter I'm allowed to bring a guest and I wanted you to be the guest and besides you owe me one for helping you and your friends a couple months ago."

Dean Ambrose- "Ok fine, I'll be your date but don't expect anything fancy or expensive out of me."

Brooke Cogan- "I wouldn't expect that from you Dean. We need to go and tell my dad. Dad! Dad!"

Hull Cogan came over to Brooke and Dean.

Hull Cogan- "What is it sweetheart?"

Brooke Cogan- "I got a date for my school dance, Dean."

Hull Cogan- "Well that's great. Dean if you get a decent scrub you could look presentable, I guess?"

Dean Ambrose- "Well I don't plan on doing that but I can see you have only good intentions."

Brooke Cogan- "Pick me up here at seven on Sunday night."

Brooke skipped away all giddy leaving just Dean and Hull.

Hull Cogan- "If you no show my daughter she will be a laughing stock because she's probably telling all her friends about this cool, special guy she's bringing. If she doesn't have fun I'm kicking your ass. Trust me. You only live across the street from here I know where to find you."

Dean Ambrose- "Don't worry man I wouldn't do such a thing to your daughter. Maybe I'd do it to someone who doesn't have such a big and muscly dad but not her."

Hull Cogan- "Good boy."

Hull ruffled Dean's hair and then rubbed his hand on his own jeans as he thought back to Dean's stance on a good scrub.

Dean got back to the apartment complex and heard noise coming from Seth's room. At this point Seth, AJ, Sami and Roman were all trying to help Seth pack.

Dean walked in to see Sami using Roman as a step stool to get the highest parts of Seth's closet while Seth was shouting directions at Sami while AJ sat on his bed looking at things on her phone.

Sami Zayn- "Seth, you don't have a belt buckle with your name on it!"

Seth Rollins- "Look to the left of the closet!"

Sami Zayn- "I am looking left!"

Seth Rollins- "No your other left!"

Sami Zayn- "I only have one left!"

Dean Ambrose- "What are you dumbasses doing?"

Sami Zayn- "Helping Seth pack."

Dean Ambrose- "Dude Wrestlemania is in two weeks relax."

AJ Lee- "No Dean it's this Sunday silly."

Dean Ambrose- "I'm pretty sure it's two weeks away everyone check your phones."

Sami, Seth, Roman and AJ all checked and all of their phones showed Dean that Wrestlemania was in fact that Sunday.

Dean Ambrose- "Oh no."

AJ Lee- "What's wrong with that."

Dean Ambrose- "Well I agreed to go with Brooke, the girl from the convenience store across the street, to her school dance as her date and that is on Sunday."

Sami Zayn- "Just explain that too her."

Dean Ambrose- "Trust me Sami I'd love to but her dad said he was going to kick my ass if I no showed her and he's a pretty big guy."

Roman Reigns- "So you are shitting yourself from him."

Dean Ambrose- "Hey! It's called picking and choosing your battles. Anyway now I can't go."

AJ Lee- "Good luck with the girl, can I get your ticket?"

Dean Ambrose- "I guess so."

Roman Reigns- "So you're really not going."

Dean Ambrose- "I'm not going."

Roman Reigns- "I ain't leaving a brother behind in staying too."

Dean Ambrose- "No don't stay Roman I'll be fine hanging with Becky, Nikki, Sasha and Paige."

Roman Reigns- "I ain't leaving a brother behind. I said I'm staying."

Dean hugged Reigns.

Dean Ambrose- "I appreciate it brotha."

Finn Balor- "Roman, can Becky get your ticket?"

Roman Reigns- "Sure I don't care."

Finn Balor- "Thanks a million. I'll go tell her."

Finn left to go and tell Becky what had happened.

Finn Balor(thought)- "I can't believe that Brooke girl means more to Dean than fucking Wrestlemania after all that crap he talks about not wanting a relationship."

It would now be Seth, AJ, Finn, Becky and Sami going to Wrestlemania 34.

Authors Note: Bit of a sticky situation Dean has gotten himself into but at least he has a friend like Roman though to stick by him. As always comment and vote for this Chapter as well as all the other Chapters I've posted.
