Chapter 65 - Christmas

Friday -25/12/18- When The Shield members were back from their latest run of shows with WWE, on Tuesday, they had the presents that they intended to give to their fellow trainees in specific suitcases.

As soon as they got back, the went to Seth's room and got the presents out of the suitcases.

The three Shield members made the three piles and, the two who weren't living in Seth's room, took the presents that they bought back to their rooms and hid them, Seth hid his under his bed.

On Christmas morning, Paige went along to Dean's room to see how he was and to trade Christmas presents with him. She opened his door and went in.

Paige Bevis- "Dean, wake up, it's Christmas, we need to open presents."

Dean didn't wake up so Paige started pushing him until he woke up.

Dean Ambrose- "Paige, quit it."

Paige Bevis- "Then get up and I'll stop."

Dean sat up and rubbed his eyes.

Paige Bevis- "Merry Christmas."

Dean Ambrose- "It would of been merry but you woke me up so early. It's just Christmas, come on."

Paige Bevis- "Can I get my present now?"

Dean grunted, got up out of his bed and got all of Paige's presents to hand to her.

She opened all of them, the England shirt, the Shield hoodie, the black earrings and the shoes.

Dean Ambrose- "How do you like your presents?"

Paige Bevis- "Dean, this is all amazing, you just know me so well, I love it, thank you so much."

Paige hugged Dean and kissed him on the cheek.

Dean Ambrose- "Am I getting my presents?"

Paige Bevis- "Yep, just come along to my room."

Dean and Paige went from Dean's room to Paige's room so that Dean could give Dean his present.

In AJ's room and Finn's room, a similar scenario occurred with Seth going into AJ's room to wake her up to give her presents and Becky going into Finn's room to do the same.

All the couples were together in a different room, spending Christmas together and opening presents.

Roman Reigns wasn't dating anyone but had his sights set on someone.

He made his way along to Nikki's room to give her all of the presents that he had bought for her to try and win her over.

Nikki was awake, looking at he phone when he walked in.

Roman Reigns- "Hey, Nikki, merry Christmas. I've got some stuff for you to open if you want to."

Nikki Bella- "Roman, you know that I love opening presents, of course I want to open presents."

Roman had put everything for Nikki in a bag and wrapped each individual item.

Roman Reigns- "It's all in this bag so just start making your way through it."

Nikki opened the shoes first and was amazed at how good they were.

Nikki Bella- "These must of cost you so much, I considered buying them but then decided I wouldn't due to the price, the shoes alone are an incredible present."

Roman Reigns- "Keep opening, it gets better, trust me."

Nikki opened the dress next and was even more amazed at that than the shoes.

Nikki Bella- "This is freaking ridiculous, Roman, I can't believe that you got me this."

Roman Reigns- "There's still more, keep going."

Nikki unwrapped the watch and the earrings, her mouth stayed open but she was speechless.

Nikki Bella- "This is insane, you really shouldn't if done this for me, I'm not that important."

Roman smirked.

Roman Reigns- "You're important to me and that is all that matters."

Nikki Bella- "This is the best Christmas that I have ever had and I've still to get presents from all the others."

Roman Reigns- "There is still one more present left for you to open."

Nikki went into Roman's bag and pulled out the last gift that Roman had got for her. She unwrapped it and saw that it was a handbag.

Nikki Bella- "Oh my god, you shouldn't of gotten me all of this."

Roman Reigns- "I've watched you work hard for two years, it's what you deserve."

Nikki Bella- "I didn't get you anything close to the value of the things that you got me."

Roman Reigns- "It's fine, just as along as you're happy with what I got you."

Nikki Bella- "I am, I love it."

Nikki got up and hugged Roman. While the hug took place, Sami Zayn came into the room and saw what was happening. When the hug was released, Roman turned around to see Sami there.

Roman Reigns- "Sami, what's up?"

Sami was so angry as Roman had turned his back on him and their deal about Nikki but refused to let it show and give Roman any satisfaction.

Sami Zayn- "I just wanted to wish everyone a merry Christmas, that's all."

Nikki Bella- "Merry Christmas."

Roman Reigns- "Merry Christmas, Sami."

Sami saluted and walked out of Nikki's room and back to his.

Sami Zayn(thought)- "Roman and Nikki's presents are going to Finn and Becky now."

Sami went to find Finn and Becky but they weren't in either of their rooms, they were, instead, in Seth's room with Seth, AJ, Sasha, Paige and Dean. Sami came in and dished out presents.

Dean Ambrose- "Thanks, Sami, I'll give you your present later."

Sami Zayn- "Just don't make it too late, my dad once got me a gift at New Years and said it was a Christmas present, the magic of alcohol, I guess?"

AJ Lee- "What's the plan for New Years."

Seth Rollins- "Me, Dean and Roman are here for New Years, we aren't on the road so all of us can celebrate together."

Sasha Banks- "All get in one room and watch the countdown."

Paige Bevis- "Sounds good."

Dean Ambrose- "If Paige is in, I've sort of got to be in."

Sami Zayn- "Then it's decided, New Years in my room."

It was agreed that the rookies would spend New Years night in Sami's room.

Authors Note: I know that this might seem sudden and out of nowhere but the next Chapter of WWE Develops Year 2018 is the very last Chapter of the book and after this I'll be starting a completely new and unrelated book.
