Chapter 30 - Busted

The rookies and Brooke got back to the apartments to get a plan in order to try to find Dean.

They already had some ideas in their head. The most popular choice at that moment was phoning him constantly until he finally picked and told them where he was but they didn't know exactly what to do.

They went up the stairs and into the corridor where all their rooms were but were shocked to see Shane McMahon stood in the corridor waiting on them.

Shane McMahon- "Paul sent me to check on you guys and maybe that was an unbelievable idea. I heard that Dean, Roman and Paige were sick but it appears that two out of the three have made some unbelievable recovery. Although, since you two are up and walking about, I need to know, where is Dean?"

The rookies and Brooke got really nervous about the whole situation and didn't make eye contact with Shane until finally Finn spoke up.

Finn Balor- "We can't tell you."

Shane McMahon- "Is this an instance where you can tell me but are just refusing to tell me?"

Roman Reigns- "No Shane, we honestly don't have any idea where Dean is."

Brooke Cogan- "He's telling the truth, whoever you are."

Shane McMahon- "Whoever I am? Who the hell even are you, missy?"

Paige Bevis- "A girl that loves Dean and was with him last night before he ran-"

Paige stopped herself before she could speak another word.

Shane McMahon- "Before he ran where?"

Sami Zayn- "Before he ran into that illness that has him down in the dumps today."

Shane McMahon- "Ok, something is going on here and I want answers right now, otherwise, Paul is kicking all of your asses when he gets back from Minneapolis. Tell me right now and he won't need to be involved and I won't be mad. If you guys don't speak up now then he will get involved, he'll be angry and I will be too."

Becky Lynch- "Fine, Shane here's the truth. Dean went out last night to a school dance with Brooke, that's the girl you don't know. It went poorly, the two fell out, Dean stormed off and he didn't come home."

Seth Rollins- "None of us know where he is but we all want to get him back here. We are concerned for him."

Shane McMahon- "So, let me get this straight, we have lost a kid."

Roman Reigns- "If you want to simplify things, then yes."

Shane McMahon- "Jesus Christ! I didn't think that whatever was going on was going to be that bad. Paul needs to know about this. I'm sorry guys, it's just how things need to be. None of you are leaving these apartments unless it is to go to training until Paul gets home and cleans up this mess that you guys left for him. This is what happens when we let kids do things on their own."

Shane got his phone out and called Paul Levesque. Paul answered almost immediately. Shane decided it would be better to put Paul on loudspeaker.

Paul Levesque- "This better be important Shane, I don't have a lot of spare time right now."

Shane McMahon- "It is very important. In short, Dean Ambrose went out with a girl last night and didn't come home and your rookies don't know where he is."

Paul Levesque- "For fuck sake! You fucking tell them that if they don't fucking find Ambrose soon I'm coming back down to Florida to kick their fucking asses!"

The rookies stood open mouthed and unsure what to say.

Shane McMahon- "I think they got the message. They are sort of beside me and you are sort of on loudspeaker."

Paul Levesque- "Ah shit!"

Paul hung up on Shane.

Shane McMahon- "Well you heard the man, get to work and find your friend."

Seth Rollins- "Shane, can you help us find him?"

Shane McMahon- "I'm a little bit busy helping run a billion dollar company so I'll use that as a reasonable reason as to why I can't help you guys. I do hope, for your own sake, that you find Dean. Remember, that he's definitely out there somewhere."

Sami lightly elbowed AJ in the arm.

Sami Zayn(whisper)- "Such shitty advice, right?"

AJ laughed quietly.

Shane left the apartment complex and the rookies went into Dean's room. The door was left unlocked.

They looked in Dean's cupboard, most of his clothes were missing, as Sami mentioned before. His phone, his laptop and his wallet were all gone too.

Brooke Cogan- "You guys weren't kidding when you said that he left. All his stuff, gone."

Sami Zayn- "To be fair, he didn't have that many belongings in the first place."

Seth Rollins- "And honestly I thought that Dean, being the type of dude he is, would of taken the bed and the mattress too."

Becky Lynch- "So how are we going to find him? Where could he be?"

AJ Lee- "Anywhere."

Finn Balor- "We might need Paul's help and maybe even the help of the police."

Sami Zayn- "And the FBI, its Dean we are talking about here."

Seth Rollins- "So are we just going to delegate the task of finding our friend to the police, Paul and the FBI without even making an attempt to find him?"

AJ Lee- "Seth, there is nothing we can do, he's gone, maybe forever."

Seth Rollins- "I'm packing my things and I'm scouring this entire country until I find my friend."

Paige Bevis- "Calm down, Seth. You don't need to do that. Do you think that if you were missing that Dean would come looking for you?"

Seth Rollins- "He did. Remember last year when I went to the store for mangos and risked missing the bus to training and you guys were looking all over for me and Dean found me and we made it on the bus?"

Roman Reigns- "Oh yeah, I remember that incident. I wanted to kick your ass that day for your tardiness."

Seth Rollins- "Dean found me and I'm going to find him."

Seth's phone started ringing. It was Paul.

Seth Rollins- "Hello."

Paul Levesque- "Seth, tell everyone that I'm coming back to Florida tonight. I'm finding Ambrose."

Seth Rollins- "Ok, will do."

Seth hung up the phone.

Becky Lynch- "So what's the news?"

Seth Rollins- "We're all going to die, Paul is coming back tonight."

Sami Zayn- "Ah shit!"

The rookies and Brooke looked around the local area for a couple of hours to pass the time before Paul Levesque's private plane would get into Florida. Then the true hunt for Dean would begin.

They called it quits at around 6pm after Paul texted Seth telling him that his plane had arrived and he was on his way to the apartments.

The rookies waited in Seth's room for Paul to get there. They were all nervous about talking to Paul as they were unsure how he'd be feeling after having to fly back to Florida after a huge Wrestlemania weekend due to a lost person.

Paul walked into the room and looked very calm for the situation at hand. The rookies didn't speak to him.

Paul Levesque- "Shane told me what happened. I've called the police. They'll be here to question all of you individually, especially Brooke. It doesn't matter how long it takes, we will get Dean back here."

It took a long time before Paul came even close to finding Dean.
