Chapter 54 - Telling It Like It Is

Tuesday -23/11/18- It was finally the day that Seth, Roman and Dean would return to Florida after their unbelievable first appearances at the Survivor Series PPV and Monday Night RAW the next day.

Their flight got in early that morning and, even though they had training that day, Paige, Sami, Nikki and AJ stayed awake, waiting for the Shield to get back.

Nikki and Sami, still, had not told anyone about the kiss that they shared on Nikki's birthday even though Sami wanted to tell everyone that he could, especially Roman.

As soon as the Shield pulled up to the apartments in a taxi, they were mobbed by the other rookies who stayed awake to see them.

Firstly, Dean and Paige reunited with a kiss and then Seth and AJ did the same thing. Then Nikki and Sami welcomed Dean and Seth back while Roman hugged AJ and Paige.

It was good to have them back, for some people.

Sami and Roman didn't talk immediately, things were different.

AJ Lee- "I really missed you, Seth."

Seth Rollins- "When you were calling me and texting me I felt awful for not replying."

AJ Lee- "It's all ok now."

AJ and Seth kissed again.

Paige Bevis- "Dean, are you going to apologise for not responding to my texts and calls."

Dean Ambrose- "Nope."

Sami Zayn- "I'm glad you're back, I just wanted to say hello and then go to bed before training."

Roman Reigns- "I forgot you guys had training tomorrow. We don't need to go if we don't want to."

Nikki Bella- "That's lucky."

Dean Ambrose- "I know that I'm not fucking going, Seth and Roman, what about you two?"

Seth Rollins- "I'll probably not go."

Roman Reigns- "I'll just go, it'll be fun."

Sami Zayn(thought)- "God damn it."

Nikki Bella(thought)- "Ugh."

Sami Zayn- "Well, I'm going to bed, I'll see you guys later."

Nikki Bella- "Me too, good night."

Nikki and Sami went inside together.

Sami Zayn- "Nikki, we didn't really talk about our kiss on your birthday and I really need to know what it meant."

Nikki Bella- "Ok, I'll tell you, I think that you're cute, like a teddy bear, and was curious how good of a kisser you were."

Sami Zayn- "Oh, that makes complete sense, oh wait, no, it doesn't. Why would you wonder what a teddy bear kisses like?"

Nikki Bella- "Really, that's the question that you are asking based on what I just said to you? Not anything along the lines of you think I'm cute?"

Sami Zayn- "There are more important matters at hand."

Nikki Bella- "I don't want you getting the wrong impression either, I am not looking for a serious relationship with anyone right now. I will just be honest now, I needed someone to make me feel like I was pretty and the way that you look at me gives me that feeling that someone thinks that I am worth something and the words you say truly cement that."

Sami Zayn- "You mean a lot to me, Nikki, you really do."

Nikki Bella- "Do I mean so much that you would be willing to kiss me again?"

Sami Zayn- "Of course you do."

Sami put his hand on Nikki's face and kissed her again, Nikki was happy to kiss back.

Seth Rollins- "What the fuck in the shit is happening over here then!?"

Sami and Nikki broke the kiss and turned around to see a shocked AJ, Paige and Seth, a confused Dean and an angry Roman.

Roman marched up to Sami.

Roman Reigns- "So now you are kissing her thinking that I'll get jealous but I've got bad news for you, son, it isn't going to work!"

Sami Zayn- "What the fuck are you talking about! I simply like a girl and she has some sort of romantic feelings for me that I still don't yet understand and you think that I'm only kissing her to spite you!? You're just a self centred asshole, Roman!

Roman Reigns- "I'm the asshole, you do realise that you are the one that's breaking the bro code!?"

Sami Zayn- "You didn't used to date Nikki and you didn't tell me that you had feelings for her so how am I breaking the bro code!"

Nikki Bella- "Wait, Roman, you have feelings for me?"

Roman Reigns- "You shut up and stay out of this!"

Sami Zayn- "Don't fucking talk to a woman like that!"

Roman Reigns- "What the hell are you going to do about it!?"

Sami Zayn- "I'm going to stand up for someone that I care about."

Sami and Roman looked like they were going to fight. Roman cocked his hand back to throw a punch but it was caught by Dean.

Dean Ambrose- "Roman, do you two realise how fucking stupid you sound! Sami likes Nikki and she likes him back and you are just going to try and ruin that?"

Roman Reigns- "Who do you think that you're talking to!"

Dean Ambrose- "Brotha! We've fought alongside each other in war after war but don't think that I won't drop you right now."

Roman and Dean then started arguing and Sami and Nikki, realising Roman was distracted, tried to quietly go upstairs but Roman quickly realised.

Roman Reigns- "Where do you think that you're going?"

Roman picked up a nearby vase and launched it at Sami, unfortunately for Roman, he was so angry that he put so much power on it that it flew over Sami and hit Seth instead.

Seth hit the ground holding his face and AJ immediately tried to help him.

Sami Zayn- "That was totally uncalled for, Roman. I'm going to tell you it like it is, I like Nikki and Nikki likes me, deal with it!"

Sami and Nikki went over to help Seth out in any way they could.

Roman ran upstairs to his room and locked the door. He was so emotional, angry and sad that he let out a loud roar and kicked his bedside table.

Roman Reigns(thought)- "I'm going to kill Sami when I get the chance."

There was a knock on his door but he didn't answer it.

Dean Ambrose- "Hey, Roman, it's Dean, I'm not asking for you to open to door or calm down but what I want you to do is look at this situation from Sami's perspective, the girl of his dreams, who hasn't dated any of his friends, likes him. Just think what you'd of done in his shoes and, if you need someone to talk to, I'll be in my room, goodnight buddy."

Roman lay in bed in the darkness, thinking about what Dean had said to him.

All of a sudden, everything became clear to Roman.
