Chapter 3 - Paul's Rules

Monday -5/1/18- The rookies walked into the Performance Centre not knowing what to expect from their new trainer Paul Levesque. Dean was the happiest out of everyone that Booker T was gone and all of the trainees knew that Paul could and would bring out the best in them.

They completed their morning schedule as usual by using the weights machines and such and those who were attending their second year of the program helped the newer trainees with the weights machines and helped them set up weekly training plans to follow going forward.

It was finally time for them to have their first session under Paul Levesque's new regime. They walked in with many emotions flooding through them and stood in a line in front of the training ring. Paul was stood in the middle of the training ring.

Paul Levesque- "Welcome to what will be the first of many training sessions that I take with you guys. I hope that we can all work well together and have a friendly, helpful and positive vibe constantly flowing whilst in here. I am going to make sure that you guys learn everything that you guys need to know to be ready to wrestle in WWE and turn all of you great athletes into WWE Superstars. In my sessions there will be no hatred spread amongst us, everyone will work as hard as they possibly can and I will push all of you guys to your physical limits to get the best from you. We can have a laugh and a joke sometimes but when we need to be serious and work we will do that. If any of you don't like that leave now."

Everyone stayed where they were.

Paul Levesque- "Good now get warmed up as we are going to be going back over the basics to make sure that the old guard so to say hasn't forgotten anything and to teach these new kids the basics."

After a warm-up Paul then made the rookies run the ropes, may wrestle for a bit and then they looked at the first steps of doing body slams successfully. It was revision for Nikki, AJ, Dean, Paige, Seth and Roman but they had fun doing it.

The session finished and everyone involved had a big smile especially Dean. When everyone left the room to go to circuit training with Chris Jericho Dean stayed behind.

Dean Ambrose- "Mr Levesque, I want to thank you for getting rid of Booker and taking matters into your own hands. I'm so happy that you are training me again."

Paul Levesque- "No problem Dean. I just want what is best for you kids. If you want something right do it yourself and that's exactly what I did."

Dean Ambrose- "I'll catch you later man."

Paul Levesque- "Have fun in circuit training."

Paul was cleaning up the room when he got a message on his phone from his wife Stephanie McMahon.

<Text Message>

Stephanie McMahon- "My dad is on his way and he is not happy with you and he's not happy with that Dean kid."

Paul Levesque- "It'll be fine. I will deal with it appropriately."

<Text Message Ends>

Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman, came into the room where the rookies were just training.

Vince McMahon- "Paul! I am going to get right to the point I want you to reinstate Booker T as a trainer. First of all he was wrongly fired and that Dean kid should be severely punished and secondly there is nobody who will be over to full take over your day to day duties and we need you as the COO."

Paul Levesque- "Dean was just standing up for himself and Steph found someone to take over as COO, someone you know very well."

Vince McMahon- "Well then who is it."

The room door opened.

Shane McMahon- "It's me...dad."

Vince McMahon- "So Shane, who I haven't seen in three years by the way, will takeover your duties while you run this developmental program and train these hooligans?"

Paul Levesque- "Yes."

Vince McMahon- "I'm warning you two right now. If either of you slip up there will be hell to pay. Paul I want that Dean kid punished and if you don't then I will."

Paul Levesque- "Fine I'll work something out with him."

Vince McMahon- "Good luck with running this whole thing. Don't fail me Paul."

Vince walked out and Shane followed him as he had some questions to ask. Paul exhaled loudly and finished cleaning up the training room.

Training the rookies was now his full time job.

Authors Note: Paul Levesque gave up his corporate position just to train the rookies.That shows you that he really must like them. Also Shane McMahon is now a character in the book. As always leave comments and vote for the Chapter.
