We had to get away. It was hard enough for us to be here. It was just so much loss lately and it was hard. We know that everything was for good. Louie's happy. He has this whole family and were so happy for that. Loosing him was the hardest though. We had to stop the fight because it wasn't worth dragging our little boy through. We didn't want that for him at all. We couldn't deny him anything that Andre could give him.
We were going to work and we just needed 2 weeks. We just need this little bit of time. It was going to be nice to go off the grid a little bit. We could focus on us. We could get back to us. We needed that after all this time. Matt looked at me as we walked into the house " this is going to be good for us!" I smiled " yeah... we need it." We knocked on Chief's office door. He spoke " come in!" He looked up at us " Casey... Dawson... come in!" Matt looked at me " so we have to talk to you about something..." He looked at us " what is it....?" I looked at him " we need some time.." He looked at us " time off?" Matt looked at him " what she means... is... we need 2 weeks off... were going to go off the grid a little and just take some time for us..." He looked at us, concerned " you guys ok..?" I looked at him " were fine... everything's been hard but were ok.. we just need this time..." He looked at us " Of Course... Hermann can cover for you on truck.. and I'll call in someone for Ambo.." I looked at him " get Chout or Rafferty.. I don't want to leave Brett with someone bad..." He looked at us " got it... so your leaving tomorrow..." I nodded " yup... thanks Chief!"
