Today were saying goodbye to our apartment. This place did us some good. It kept a roof over our heads these past few years. We've gone through a lot an changed a lot these past few years. We went through a breakup and got back together. We went through losses and happy discoveries all here. We got to experience it all. Were moving on to the new. We get to create more happy memories in the new place. Our twins are going to experience it all at the new place. This is a fresh start to the continue of our forever.
We opened the door one last time. We walked in " it's so empty.." Matt laughed " yeah it is..." I looked at him " remember when Severide and Brittany stayed with us.... when he was married..." Matt laughed " oh that!" Matt looked at me " and that's the wall I punched a hole in... and repaired.." I looked at him,confused " when did that happen..?" Matt looked at me " when we took a break...." I looked at him " sorry..." He kissed me and we were stuck in our own moment " it all worked out... we found each other... were together forever..." I kissed Matt " to new changes..." Matt kissed me holding my face in the palm of his hand " new changes it is...."
We left the place behind but outside this door so much more was going to happen. We had an entirely new journey!
