Today was our shift off. Matt had a construction job. He didn't take too many these days with being alderman and all. From time to time he would take one. Things have been busy for us. We've been trying to keep ourselves busy these past few months with everything that has been going on.

Louie has been living with his dad for 4 months now. Andre sends us pictures from time to time. It's nice seeing that he's happy, but we miss him so much. Andre said we can see Louie once a month or every couple months. It's really up to us. We are happy that he is letting us see him. Right now was just not the right time. Everything was just too painful.

Matt got home. It was 7 o'clock which was perfect timing I would say. The door opened and closed. He yelled "hello... Gabby.." I yelled back " in the kitchen..." He saw me stirring the pot of pasta I made " hey..." I smiled " hey... dinners almost ready." Matt kissed my head " great... i'm starving!" I set two bowls full of pasta on the table. Matt smiled " this looks great baby!" I smiled " thanks.... how was your day?" He looked at me " just another.. job!" I smiled " good..good." He looked at me " what did you do..?" I looked at him " cleaned up around here..."

I looked at my husband. He looked good, happy. It was hard for us these past 4 months. I looked at Matt " baby.. i'm tired I'm gonna go lay down..." I laid down on the bed. Matt followed me into the bedroom, concerned " Gabs... what's wrong..?" I shrugged " nothing..." He sat on the bed next to me  " no... i'm your husband.. talk to me.." I looked at him " I know this past year has been hard... loosing the baby and Louie... we've been trough so much.." He looked at me, placing his hand on mine " we have!" I looked at him " I'm ready..." Matt looked confused " ready... for..." I looked at him crying happily " I want a baby... I want to try for a baby... our baby"
