Matt sister and his niece are coming over tonight. I am excited. We haven't seen them in a while. It was good to see family. I would nice to reconnect and be together. We want to be close to our family. This is our family since we are married now, but it hasn't been just my family or just Matt's. We are all a family together.
They were here. Matt went to the door " Christie.. Violet!" He hugged them " good to see you two, come in!" Matt looked at Violet " wow your so grown up.." Christie smiled " she will be 15 in 6 months.." Matt laughed " wow... Gabby's in the kitchen.." They walked into the kitchen. Christie hugged Gabby " congratulations... welcome to the family!" I smiled " thanks... glad you guys could make it!" She smiled " yeah... we really should do this more often..." Violet hugged Gabby " hi Aunt Gabby!" I smiled " hi Vi how's school..." She smiled " good..."
We started to eat and everything was just so good. I remembered what this was like. We never really do stuff like this with Matt's family, but maybe this was something new for us. Christie asked " so have you guys thought about having kids..." I looked at Matt " yeah... we've talked about it...." Matt nodded " yeah.... just this past year with everything we just need some time..."
We didn't want to reveal tell anyone yet that we were trying. We just didn't want to say anything until we know the real news.
