I'm 20 weeks pregnant and today is the day. Today we are going to find out if were having boys, girls, or one of each. We had to know. With everything happening recently we just needed to know. Twins was enough of a surprise for us. We just need to know. The twins are developing well. Their eyebrows have started to grow, and they're sprouting hair on top of their heads. This hair may change in texture and color once they're born. There's also a lot going on inside our babies heads. The areas of the brain responsible for taste, smell, and touch are now developing. When your babies are born, their sense of smell will be one of their most developed senses, making it easy for them to recognize us straight away. I feel their kicks so much. They are so strong.
We got to the doctors early this morning before shift. We got into the doctors and we were waiting for the doctor to come in. He came in " hi how are you guys?" I smiled " good..." He looked at us " ok so do we want to know the genders..?" I smiled " yeah we do... twins was enough of a surprise for us." He laughed " I hear you..." He put the gel on my stomach " ok here we go... theres baby a's head and baby b's head and arm.... everything looks good.." I smiled " two girls... boys..." Matt looked at me and held my hand " boys doc... please?!" The doctor laughed " look right here... baby a is a girl and baby baby is a boy!" I smiled " a little girl and boy!" Matt kissed me " that's so amazing!" I smiled " it's a miracle really..." The doctor smiled " we got two healthy heartbeats.. i'll go get your pictures!"
