I couldn't believe it. A month had gone by. It just didn't seem like it was all real. Matt is going back to work today. It didn't seem like time could pass this fast. The pregnancy flew and just this first month has flown. Time goes by fast that's for sure though. I'm just trying to soak everything in. The CFD has been great with us. Matt got a month, most fathers are lucky to get a week, or even a few for that matter. I'm not sure when i'm going back to work yet. It could be 2 more months, 6, or maybe even a year. I haven't decided. With twins it's hard. Two babies and I just can't leave them. I know this job is going to be hard, especially with kids. I just don't know if i could ever leave them.
Matt got read for work. He put on his shirt and pants trying not to wake me. I sat up " do you really have to go...?" Matt looked at me " yeah... it's time isn't it?" I looked at him " I guess we couldn't stay home together forever..." Matt sat on the bed next to me " it's 24 hours... we will be just fine.." I smiled " yeah.. just fine... my moms going to come over later and help out..." Matt looked at me " that's great... you know it take a village..." I laughed " yup... only a village!"
