  I'm 28 weeks pregnant. I'm 6 months and 2 days pregnant that is. We have been unpacking our it seems like for the past few weeks. Box after box and seems like we will never get through this. Will will just be unpacking forever and ever. The babies were super active. These days it was like they wouldn't let me get any sleep. Matt wrapped his arms around my back " hey momma!" I smiled " hey daddy!" He smiled " how did you sleep..?" I looked at him " not the best.. but I'm good." 

We went to work. The good thing is that our house was only 20 minutes from the firehouse and hospital and everything. It was just a quick drive. We walked in. I looked at him " hey we have a doctors appointment after this shift..." Matt kissed my head " all clear. I'm all free of everything!" I smiled " great!" I sat down " i'm huge! it's official!" Hermann laughed " yeah... your there!" Casey hit Hermann on the shoulder " hey! that's my wife your talking about!" I laughed " I am Matt! I'm huge!" He put his hands on my shoulders " the babies are healthy and so are you so that's all that matters..." 

I knew it was getting to the point where I might have to stop working or take a desk job. I have to have the guys lift things for me. I can't bend down. My back kills me. We got to the doctors and we were just waiting to see him. Matt rubbed my back " your gonna be fine..." I looked at him " I know... but it's getting harder. I need to work longer..." Matt looked at me " no you don't.... we'll be fine. Let's focus on you." The doctor " hello guys... how are we?" I smiled " just fine..." He looked at me " well let's see where were at?" He started the ultrasound " ok everything seems to be developing very well..." I looked at him " heartbeats.." He continued " here we go... two strong heartbeats..." I looked at him " i'm good..." he looked at me " well yes... but i am concerned a slight bit.." 

Matt looked at him " how so?!" He looked at us " how's the pain been?!" I looked at him " my back hurts... and i've had contractions but they've just been normal like you've said..." He looked at us, concerned... " well your fine i don't deny that... but with your work 24 hour shifts and the stress of the job... it's done a number on your body." I looked at him " i'm.. fine.. okay!" He looked at me " I know you can handle it but your blood pressure is a little elevated..." Matt looked at me " doc what does this mean..?" He looked at us " well it could be nothing... but i'd like to stay on the safe side... pre-term labor and stuff like preaclapsia are my concerns... i'd just like to keep everything on the safe side before we have something more real to worry about..." I looked at him " so your putting me on bed rest... great!" He looked at me " we want to be safe... minimal bed rest is all. just take leave from work... and we'll set an appointment up for next week." Matt shook his hand " ok thanks doctor."
