Today we were going back to work. We got in late last night. It was nice to get away these past 2 weeks, but now it was back work. It was going to be nice to see everyone. I know they probably missed us. We missed them even though it was nice. There was no house drama, not that there is a lot. It was just nice for it to be us, and just us. We've never really had the chance to get away. The most we got was when we weren't at Molly's when we were at home. 

We got ready for work and it was time to leave. I was pretty much excited for this shift. I was excited to get back to work. I love my job. I do, I love it. It was just weird how excited we were. Maybe it has been too long. We got to the house and we walked into the kitchen. I smiled " hey guys..." Brett hugged me " hey your back!" I smiled and hugged her " yeah we are... sorry i didn't call.." She smiled " oh... that;s ok your here now." I smiled " yeah... we got back late last night and we were just so tired that we fell asleep.." She smiled " of course..." Hermann looked at Casey " so how was it.." Matt looked at me and smiled " good... were good." I smiled " It was fun.. we got out. enjoyed the outdoors and it was so quiet and nice." Chief walked out  "Casey...Dawson! glad your back!" 

Ambulance 61... women in distress... 4456 windsor drive

We got a call. Brett and I were off. We got to the house. We walked in " fire  dapartment... paramedics!" She yelled " it's open.." we walked inside " miss.." We walked in to find her on the floor. I looked at her " ok miss what's happening..." She looked at me " I think I'm in labor.." I checked her out " did your water break..." She looked at me " I.. I don't know.." I looked at her       " what's your name hun.." She looked at me Keren.." I looked at her " ok...ok let's see..." She looked at me " something doesn't feel ok... I'm not.." I looked at her " oh god...." Brett looked at me " Gabby..." I looked at Brett " I can see the babies head... this baby is coming now.." Brett kneeled next to her " ok were gonna deliver your baby we have to.. everything is going to be ok..." I looked at her " ok Keren... I can see the babies head.. I need you to push.." She pushed and I saw his little face. I felt his little body coming into my hands. I looked at her " ok more last strong push..." She looked at me " ok..ok!" 

Then there he was. He was here. I delivered another baby, but it felt different for me.
