slowing down- chapter 53

I'm 35 weeks pregnant. Time is going by faster and faster. We are slowing things down. I've got the house cleaned to the point where the floor may be edible. We had our doctor appointment today. I knew that this would be one of the last appointments. We just have a few more left. Matt wanted to slow things down and work and possibly take some time off before the baby were to come. We're just gonna have to see what happens though.

We got to the doctors and were just waiting. Matt looked at me " won't have so many of these soon.." I looked at him " yeah it's all becoming real... like this is going to happen..." Matt kissed me " I can't wait until it does..." 

We saw the doctor. He smiled " your looking really good... the babies are great... heart beats are strong... baby A is head down and baby b isn't but that can change in the next few weeks..." I looked at him " and what about delivery..?" He looked at us " well... since your doing good we'll wait it out for you to go into labor naturally but with twins it's a little more complicated... the chances of stillbirth gets higher the closer you get to 40 weeks .... so if you don't go into labor until 39 weeks we will have to go with an induction.." I looked at him " and I would like to have the babies naturally.. no drugs..." He nodded " twin births most likely result in a c-section but we will do what we can to make that happen..."
