Matt's POV
I had something to get off my chest. I love Gabby and we are married now. We have been for about a month and a half. I love her so much. When I was cleaning the guest room I found it. I found the ring. The ring that I gave her when I proposed the first time. The ring to Shay helped me pick out before she passed. That ring just has so many memories for us. When we took time apart I was sad a little bit. I didn't tell anybody that, but I missed her everyday. We saw each other everyday. I was her boss, but I never stopped loving her. Everything came back together for a reason. We loved each other too much to let go. Everything has worked out because of love, but also because we are meant for each other. I knew that long before we finally decided to just get married. I'm happy that our second family was there to witness that.
We got inside and we settled in. I looked at Gabby " I have to get something off my chest..." She looked at me " what's wrong..?" I looked at her " I love you so very much... you know that and this past month I haven't been myself... loosing Louie has been hard... for the both of us and I know we will get through everything and everything will be ok. I will do anything and everything for you so I want to give you these rings..." I pulled the rings out of my pocket " for you.." She smiled " oh god... baby!" I kissed her " is this good..." She kissed me and hugged me close to her " I love it..." I smiled " the band is engraved 12.5.2016 forever.." She smiled and kissed me " I love it..." I slid the rings on her finger " amazing..."
I had a ring too with our wedding date engraved. This was for us and I was so happy. We had a part of each other everyday.
