it's time now- chapter 55

I'm 36 weeks and four days pregnant. Matt's last shift before we becoming a family of four is tomorrow. Then we would have time to prepare. I'm excited, but also nervous. I'm ready for the birth. It's our time now for all this. Our miracle is about to come true. I'm ready everything in this world. 

We were setting down. It was 9:30. We were tired from this day. We walked around and got the house to be perfect. I can't wait until it's all full. Matt looked at me " one more shift... then babies..." I smiled " i'm ready for our little miracles to grace us with their presences..." Matt kissed me " me too..." We started to fall asleep.

 At this point in pregnancy I could get couldn't get comfortable. I switched from side to side. I laid on my back. My contractions were stronger than usual. It hurt so bad, it kind of took my breathe away. I breathed deeper and deeper. The pain didn't seem to get easier. I sat up " ugh... no no.." Then I felt somehting.. I thought " did I pee.." I turned on the light and looked down.. the bed was wet..." Matt rolled over opening his eyes " Gabby..." I looked at him " I think my water just broke..." Matt sat up " it's ok... ok well let's get to the hospital ok...." I looked at Matt " it's time.." He smiled " it's time.." I looked at him " what if something is wrong... I can't go through tha...?" He held my hand " your ok... the babies will be ok.. let's get to the hospital and have some babies ok... this is good!" 

Matt looked over at me in the car " how far apart are your contractions... 6 minutes.." He held my hand " ok were good.." We got to the hospital. Maggie saw us " hey guys... it's a little late." I nodded " ya... we'll my water broke." She smiled " your having the babies!" Matt laughed " that's what were thinking." 

We got up into labor and delivery. The doctor met us " so tonight's the night huh.." I smiled " I guess so.." He checked me " well your at 4 centimeters... so how about you go walk around for a while and then we'll recheck in an hour or so.." 

So here we go...
