"Oh, I know!" Quinton raises his hand, "why don't you and Hunter start to hang out with nerds?" Hunter scoffs at the idea, "And let down my reputation? No way." He replies.

"You have a rep?" I ask and Autumn nods, "Our reputation is nonchalant, so nobody cares. It's exactly where we want to be, no drama and that shit."

Oh.

"I have an idea. Why don't you start treating all the cheerleaders and jocks really badly so they start to hate you?"

"No way! They're nice to me and angering them would just make them even more jealous of my title, because, I can boss them." I frown.

"Why don't you and Hunter go out?" Quinton suggests and my eyes bulge. "What?" Hunter and I say at the same time.

"Yeah, that's a good idea. I mean, Hunter doesn't have a reputation, he's neutral and that's exactly where you want to be, right?" Autumn asks and I nod.

"So,I f you pretend you're going out, your stats will fall down the drains, won't it?" Autumn questions and I nod. "Yes, but wouldn't it just cause drama for you guys and hatred?" I ponder and Quinton nods, "yes, but it's better than our bro going to jail."

"Besides, the drama won't last long. And as long as you hang around nerdy people, your position will be taken by someone else." Autumn adds and I nod.

"Yeah, I guess." I reply and look at Hunter. He's staring at the grass and all eyes are on him. When he looks up he shakes his head. "No. Way. In. Hell."

"So what are the boundaries in the relationship?" I ask Hunter as we walk out of school together. "I don't know." He replies for the fourth time. "Well, every relationship has their boundaries and if this is just a play, then we need our limits but we also need to show it off and express that we are going out." I say and Hunter holds his head. "And, to make people believe it, we need to show affection, right?" I ask and Hunter groans, "Would you please just shut up. Just for two minutes." He pleads and I frown.

"I don't talk that much." I add and he groans even louder.

When we reach a park, we each take a seat on a swing.

"Our boundaries are; nothing beyond kissing and touching. Got it?" Hunter tells me and I nod in agreement.

"So... Are we going to practice?" I ask after a few minutes of silence pass.

"What? No. Only when there's an audience." He replies blankly and I sigh, "I'm bored."

"Go paint your nails or something." He tells me and I roll my eyes. "No. I can't walk all the way hom-, I mean Gran's." I cough, to rid of the awkwardness I've now made.

"Your house is only three or four blocks away isn't it?" Hunter asks and I nod but then shake my head, "I'm not staying there." Not for now anyway.

"Why?" Hunter asks softly and I stare at the sky, "Because there's too much cloud there and my flower needs the sunlight." I reply and Hunter just stares at me, strangely.

I close my eyes for a moment and feel a tear drip down my face. Another tear, another and another. Soon I'm sobbing and I don't even know why. I open my eyes and another tear falls passed my eye. -Only to realise they're not tears, it's rain.

"Rain!" I shout gleefully and jump out of the swing, pouncing around as the drips get faster and faster, soaking my clothes. Hunter just sits on the swing while I twirl and jump around joyfully. "It hasn't rained for weeks!" I shout and open my arms out and and widen my mouth to swallow the elixir.

"Come on Hunter!" I call for him from the grass and he looks at me and then looks back at the ground. I sigh and walk up to him, grab his hand and drag him to the grass, "why are you so heavy?" I ask as I try to tug him along.

He looks up at the sky when we reach the grass and he smiles faintly.

"Yippy!" I shout and start to do twirls.

I even attempt a ballerina twirl but end up falling over into the muddy grass. I laugh and wipe the mud away from my cheeks. "This is so much fun!" I say dizzily and crash into something harder than a brick, softer than a banana and as delicate as glass. I look up into the eyes belonging to Hunter and smile at him as my eyes adjust.

For a moment his eyes are filled with a little bit of lust but they are then covered with joy and happiness and he takes my hands and spins me around with him.

"Whooooo!" I shout happily and then trip and fall into Hunter, who then falls onto the grass with me on top of him. I grin sheepishly and I take my time to notice that his features are so exquisite. His defined jaws, his long black lashes covered in miniature rain drops. His green eyes, brighter that I've ever notice and his dirty blonde hair that falls a little over his forehead.

He stares into my blue eyes and offers me a ghost of a smile, offering me a slice of heaven.

We both lean into each other and our lips brush against one another. His pink lips are so gentle and sweet as they caress mine. Slow and steady. I savour his delicious, irresistible flavour and kiss him back with just as much passion. He takes his hand and moves my hair away from my face, still kissing me gently; as though I'm made of glass and I'll crack easily.

I smile into the kiss and Hunter rolls us over so he's hovering over me. His tongue flicks onto my bottom lip and I widen my mouth, allowing him in. Our tongues fight for dominance and the pace speeds up a little. I hold the back of his neck and caress him. When I let out a moan, Hunter snaps back to reality, pulling away from me quickly.

I let out a small whimper, missing his warmth.

The awkwardness between us causes us to be silent so we just sit there. "That was just practice." Hunter informs me and gets up from the muddy floor and walks past the park and down the road, to who knows where.

I sigh. Was that really just practice? It felt like I was in heaven. The way he kissed me... It was magical.

"Shut up, just shut up!" I tell my inner self and she laughs, "you can't hide it forever".
