"Truth or dare?" Thea asks Zara

We're currently sitting in Thea's dorm playing games. And by we, I mean: Thea, Felix, Zero, Kaysil and Zara.

You're probably wondering why I'm in the same room as my nearly-rapist. I'm asking myself the same question, but Felix insisted that I come to this mini get-together. Besides, he promised to protect me from Zero. And Kaysil- but Felix doesn't need to know about that... To be honest, I don't even know if Kaysil is on my good side or not: he's acting as if nothing happened- like we're friends. Kind of similar to the way Zara acted towards me when I first came to her dorm. Strange how I ended up in her dorm- maybe she paid the receptionist to give me the dorm room. I mean, the old hag didn't even ask what level I wanted to go to, she just gave me a number and a key.

I feel completely awkward around Zero because he keeps trying to catch my eye contact. But I refuse to look him in the eye. He doesn't deserve to even be looked at. That, and because I've shared one of my weaknesses towards him: I told him that I've been raped before. I feel vulnerable and I do not want to give him the satisfaction and feeling of dominance and power.

"Dare." Zara says firmly, causing Kaysil to roll his eyes, "You can't not choose dare, can you?"

It's true, she's chosen Dare eleven times in a row.

"Whatever." She mutters and Thea chuckles, "More entertainment," she winks at Kaysil, "I dare you to-"

"Act like a dog," Kaysil says cheekily, causing Felix to laugh a little. "Doesn't she always?" Zero asks nonchalantly while staring at me.

Felix wraps an arm around my shoulders to somewhat erase my discomfort. Finally, Zero's eyes move away from mine and narrow at Felix's arm.

Zero is not having any of me, neither is Felix.

Zara coughs to catch their attention, "You three just missed the dog show. It's Zero's turn."

Everyone stares at Zero.

He sighs as Zara asks him, "Truth or Dare?"

He replies with Truth.

"Who do you like?"

Zero, a little surprised by the question, begins to fiddle with his black phone. He whispers something, but I doubt even Bugs Bunny could hear it if he had ears the size of his teeth.

"Couldn't quite hear you, what was that?" Felix smirks, staring at Zero challengingly.

Zero lifts his head up to glare at Felix, "you would know wouldn't you?"

Felix sneers, "What's that supposed to mean?"

Zero rolls his eyes, "Alright, cut it out, you two. Truth or dare, Felix?" Thea asks.

"Truth." Felix replies firmly while staring threateningly at Zero.

"How many girls have you slept with this week?" Thea asks with a suggest grin and wagging her eyebrows at him. This causes everyone except for Zero to laugh.

"Seven," he shrugs smugly, trying to hide his smirk but failing miserably. Zero laughs sarcastically, "Oh would you look at that- Seven meals and it's only Wednesday. What's your secret? Seduction or force?"

Felix's smirk deepens until it reaches a sinister sneer, "Please," he chuckles, "I have no secret. They just throw themselves at me."

His comment kind of disgusts me, as it reminds me that Felix is a player. You know who else is a player? My shithead of an ex: Jayden.
