UNEDITED!

The day after all the commotion with Cow, I got a little help from my house servant; Lisa. She’s very sneaky. Carol only recently hired her because she felt like the house needed shaping up when we were too busy to do it ourselves. I’m okay with it. Lisa’s cool; she’s twenty-three and she’s absolutely sassy and adorable. She’s short and very thin with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyway, while James was here, Lisa stole his phone and configured his details. And by details, I mean his stable.

Or house. Whatever you want to call it.

So now I’m on my way to visit the old man.

When I reach his stable, I don’t gasp. I knew it was coming: Owning hotels is a huge business, he’s loaded. That’s exactly why he lives in a deca-stable. It’s enormous and beautiful.

I run up the stairs and knock on the door. No one answers so I try to turn the knob and realise it’s unlocked. I open the door swiftly and walk inside, “DADDY IM HOME!” I yell in a super high-pitched, happy tone.

An old man walks through another door and looks at me in confusion. I gasp, “James, you’ve gotten really old. What happened?” I ask in confusion and the man squints at me, “I think you have the wrong house, love.”  The man exclaims and I frown.

“Oh! You must be Charlie!” It clicks in my mind and I grin and leap into a hug. He uncomfortably squirms and through his modest, rich English voice, says, “Who are you? How do you know my name?”

I giggle, “That sounds like that movie, ‘Taken.’” I laugh again, “I WILL FIND YOU AND I WILL KILL YOU” I say in my loudest, deepest voice.

Charlie shouts in laughter.

I chuckle a bit, “So where’s Jamesy? I need to talk to him.” I question and just at that moment, James walks out of another room.

He halts in his footsteps and begins to back away. I tut, “Goodness gracious, Cow. Is that how you treat your daughter?” I ask, imitating Charlie’s posh voice but failing miserably.

When James stares at me blankly, not saying anything, Charlie intervenes, “Sir, I didn’t really know what to do with her. She was persistent to talk to you” The butler explains and I roll my eyes.

I wasn’t... persistent...?

James coughs, “It’s alright. Could you please leave us be?” He asks Charlie politely and he obliges, leaving the foyer.

“So what brings the daughter of betrayal to my house?” He asks, somewhat rudely and I scoff. “Seriously? You’re calling Carol a betrayer? You betrayed me as much as you did her- you literally left me alone, dad-less.”

This catches both of us by surprise. I was planning on saying something like that but that was just spectacular! I could be a professional lawye-
