"You alright, Y/N? You sound a little stressed."

"I'm not having the best day, Nico. I was close to getting fired from my part-time job and I have so much to study for my upcoming exams."

"That does sound awful... How about I cook up your favorite meal for dinner tonight, how does that sound?"

"I would love that very much, I appreciate you for doing all this, Nico."

"Hey, I'll be always there for you whenever you need me, Y/N."

"You're watching way too many episodes of Friends."

"Hey, that's a great TV show and don't fun of me for being a fan!"

"Alright, I'm in the car right now and I'm going to have to hang up the call. I love you."

"I love you too, sweetheart. Drive safely!"

Nico walked up to the kitchen and headed straight towards the pantry to grab a few ingredients that were necessities to cook Y/N's favorite meal, which was the classic spaghetti and meatballs. With his arms full of the ingredients he could find in the cabinets, he carefully set them down on the kitchen counter before walking over to the fridge to grab a few more. Once the ingredient grabbing was complete, it was then time for him to officially start cooking.

"Alright, I first have to have the pot full of water and boil it for a few minutes..." Nico mumbled to himself as he read the recipe in front of him. Opening the door next to the stove, he found the appropriate pot that was good for cooking the spaghetti in. After grabbing the pot, Nico went over to the kitchen sink and started to fill up the pot until it was good enough and not spill over.

Two hands tightly gripped on the pot handle, Nico slowly walked over to the stove, setting the pot down on one of the burners and turned on the medium heat setting.

"And now I have to wait for 5-10 minutes to let the water boil? Well, that sounds fine with me; I think I'll go play a few rounds of FIFA..." Nico opened up the clock app on his phone and set the timer to remind him that he had to come back in a while.

"I just can't wait to be back home and spend the night with-" Y/N talked to herself in a blissful manner before she stopped herself and parked the car in the driveway. Grabbing all of her important study materials that were in the backseat of her car, she walked out into the cold and snowy world that was the city of Halifax.

Y/N quickly sprinted up to the front door, being extra cautious that she didn't slip nor fall whilst making the journey. She grabbed the house key from her jacket pocket and frantically opened the door, only to find herself hearing continuous beep noises of the fire alarm and the window in the kitchen to be open.

She was met by a coughing Nico, who held a wet towel in his hand as he waved the cloth up and down to try to extinguish the smoke out of the house.

"What happened here?" Y/N inquired as she set her study materials down on the couch and walked into the kitchen, only to find smoke coming from the oven. She brought her elbow up to her mouth to protect herself from the smoke before she walked back into the living room to ask Nico what had happened while she was gone.

"Well, I was planning to make us some spaghetti and meatballs," he winked at her, knowing she was going to be somewhat happy. "And I had the pasta cooked and all that, but it got pretty hectic when it came to the meatballs..."

"Let me guess," Y/N smirked at the Swiss, "you left the meatballs in the oven and played a few rounds of FIFA, haven't you?"

Nico's cheeks started to heat up and turn red, causing her to chuckle and kiss him there to stop him from being ashamed.

"I appreciate the thought, Nico. You are the sweetest and kindest boyfriend I've ever had and I'm thankful that you are." She smiled at him, her E/C eyes looking into his chocolate brown eyes. "I love you so much, Nico."

"Ich liebe dich auch, Y/N."

Guess who's back from after a few busy weeks of school! I haven't updated on here since the 16th and I am so sorry for that... Hopefully, I'll be updating on here more but still focus on school! Anyways, hope you enjoyed this imagine; have a great rest of your day/night; I'll see you later!
