October 25th / Sunday

I feel David's presence in the bed, the warmth of his body hugging mine in a tight embrace. His hand slowly slides up and down my back, trying to wake me up and in reply I just let out a loud groan, but keep my eyes closed. When he gently kisses the back of my neck, a little smile involuntarily creeps on my still sleepy face.

"I saw that smile, Liza. I know you are awake." He whispers and I groan again. "I have a surprise for you downstairs." I shake my head, not wanting to get up and leave the nice coziness my bed provides. "Is that so?!" I smile again, eyes still closed. Suddenly an invisible force pulls up the bed covers and the warm hands that were hugging me now start a awful tickle war, causing my eyes to instantly shoot open.

"Please... David... Stop..." I manage to yell gasping for air, but ending up laughing even more. I kick and twist as I try to fight back, but the fact that he is much stronger and faster than me is already dooming my sad attempts to a failure.

"No... Liza... You asked for it..." He stops tickling me and leans closer, pining my hands above my head. He looks straight into my eyes, grinning triumphantly. That smug smile can always make my breath hitch even if I'm already short on oxygen. "You look so beautiful when you are sleeping." He whispers and slowly goes for my neck. This time my breath fasteners, my heart pounding more loudly in my chest with every kiss he places. "But you are even more gorgeous when you are awake." He smiles against my skin as my body shivers from the touch of his lips.

"You w... were talking a... about a surprise?!" I desperately try to change the subject, embarrassed that he's now probably aware of the effect he has on me. When he lifts his head and simply nods his head, I know it for sure.

"I was, but right now I have much more interesting thing to do." He leans again and gently kisses my lips, releasing my hands then backs away, sitting beside me. But then I notice something that makes me quickly lift up, wrap my hands around his neck and pulling him into another mind blowing kiss. Morning breath can go to hell, because he's not wearing a shirt.

"I can easily get used to waking up like this." I say as we break away from each other. He smiles and sits up again, his hair sticking out in every possible direction thanks to the hundreds  times I've ran my fingers through it.

"Then I think that you will be even more happy when you see what is waiting for you in the kitchen. Come on!" He turns around and I giggle as I hop on his back.

He stands up and as he starts walking towards the staircase with me as a monkey on his back, a delicious smell strikes my nose, making it hard for me to not start drooling right on David's shoulder. When we finally arrive to the kitchen David carefully puts me down on the ground, giving me a small peck before moving to the side, revealing the most perfectly round, mouthwatering omelette, a glass of orange juice next to the plate, both laying peacefully on the kitchen table, just waiting to be mercifully devoured by me.

"David, that's so sweet! You made me breakfast!" I say, hugging him. The only person who's ever made me breakfast is my mom and seeing that David's thought of that all by himself, just makes me beyond happy. "Thank you!" I kiss him on the cheek and sit on the chair, preparing myself to devour the omelette in one bite.

"Actually, it's more like a late lunch than a breakfast." He says and I raise my eyebrows, taking a bite of the delectable goodness he's prepared. It's feels like I'm eating a cloud, so fluffy and soft. "It's 3:30 PM." He points to the clock, but I just shrug it off. I'm officially in food heaven and I don't plan on going back down to earth just because it's the middle of the afternoon.

"I don't care. This is so good! From now on I pronounce you as my own, personal chef." I take another bite, my eyes closing by themselves as my senses fully enjoy the omelette.
