"I don't want to go!" I whine, crossing my arms under my chest like a stubborn child. David lets out a small laugh, reaching for my hand. "No!" I pout my lips, turning my back to him, pretending to look at something interesting out the window.
He came to my house an hour ago and since then he is persuading and sedusing me into going to another party at Heath's house. What is with these people and their party obsessions? Am I the only person on Earth who don't actually like getting drunk and making out with strangers in public? My train of thoughts immediately derails from its tracks as David's hands slowly snake around me, his chin resting on my shoulder. I feel the warmth radiating from his body, his alluring scent overwhelming my senses. I cautiously breathe it in like I'm afraid that it's going to run away from me before I can fully enjoy it. Who am I kidding? I can never have enough of it. Of him. It looks like he is my obsession.
"Please, princess!" His soft lips slightly touch my ear, making me close my eyes. "It's important for us to be there." The way he's slowly caressing my upper arm with his thumb almost melts my insides, turning me into a puddle of goo.
"Why? It's just a party. Zane and Heath are throwing one almost every week. It won't be such a big deal if we don't go to this one." I say, eyes still closed, my mind focused on his thumb. "I want to stay here with you. Alone." His thumb stops moving when I emphasize the word, making me open my eyes.
I hear a long loud sigh behind me before he puts his hands on my shoulders to spin me around. As our eyes meet, I see little flames, dancing in his dark brown eyes. He slightly shakes his head like he's trying to extinguish them with that movement, but doesn't succeed much. My heart trembles when the realization that I'm the reason for these fires comes to my mind.
"You can't imagine how much I want that!" He whispers, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "I really do, but we have to meet someone there. He's going to help." He tries hard to hide the agitation in his voice, but my body still tenses up at the remind of the awful texts. He notices my sudden stiffness and cups my face with his hands, thumbs start moving slowly on my cheekbones. I close my eyes again, letting his tender touch soothe me.
"Fine!" After a few seconds, I breathe, already relaxed a bit. "But just for a couple of hours." I don't have to be looking at him to know he has that victorious smile painted on his adorable face. He pulls me towards him till our bodies fully touch, completely closing the gap between us. I can't help myself and bury my fingers into his messy hair as his soft lips greet mine.
"Don't do that! It drives me insane!" He murmurs, against my lips and I open my eyes a little. I can see him fighting the desire, the urge. "Ok, maybe one more." A smile appears on his face before he kisses me again. He had lost the battle.
After almost an hour of kissing and a few minutes of me throwing on some fresh clothes and make-up on my face, we finally arrive in front of Heath's house. I haven't even left the car, but I can hear the loud blasting music, making my whole body tremble involuntarily along with the beat. I wonder how come the neighbors haven't called the police yet, since it's way past 10 PM. As usually, David opens the car door for me, wrapping his arm possessively around my waist as we approach the house. He manage to steal himself one last kiss just before Zane opens the front door.
My nose wrinkles when the stink of cheap alcohol mixed up with sweat and different perfumes strikes me. I've never liked alcohol - the smell, the taste, how it effects people. For me it's more than disgusting.
"Dudes, you are so late! You're missing all the fun!" He yells, trying to be louder than the music and grabs David free hand, pulling us both inside.
