"Now that's what I call a real party!" Zane shouts before jumping into the pool, making everybody around wet, especially me and Gabbie. He comes up to take a breath and sees our angry faces. "Oops, sorry, babes! Guess you'll have to take off your clothes now!" He wiggles his eyebrows and quickly looks at David for support.

"I couldn't agree more!" David smirks and I frown, crossing my arms. "Hey, I didn't mean it like that! I just don't want you two to catch a cold or something." He puts his hands up in defense, but the evil smirk still stays on his face.

"Come, Liza. I left some clothes here..." Gabbie says and turns towards Zane. "...exactly for moments like this." He sticks his tongue in response and disappears under the water.

Gabbie rolls her eyes and take me to Zane's room to change. After about 10 minutes of struggling, we finally manage to take off my costume. I make a note to myself to never wear a big puffy dress at a pool party again. Huge mistake!

"Ummm... Liza, we have a problem!" Gabbie's voice sounds weird when she is worried. "I don't know how to bring this to you, but I have only one spare T-shirt." She says as I put the sweatpants she just gave me. "And as you can see Zane is not very organized person." She points to the extremely messy room. " I don't think that you would like to put on one of his shirts. Who knows for how long he hasn't done his laundry." She picks up  piece of clothing, but quickly drops it back on the floor with a disgusted face.

"Dang it! I can't go out of here wearing just a bra!" I sigh and sit on the bed. "The dress is drenched, so I guess I'll stay here for the rest of the night."

"Or maybe your awesome and thoughtful boyfriend can help!" I jump a little when I hear David's voice as the door slowly opens a little. He sticks out one hand and I smile when I see he's brought the black hoodie he gave me on our first date. "I kind of accidentally had this in my car and I thought you'd want to wear it." I don't need to see his face to know that he is smiling.

"Aww! You guys are the perfect example for couples goals." Gabbie says and I smile, taking the hoodie from David's hand.

Our fingers brush for a second and I feel the familiar tickling in my stomach. Ah, this boy keeps surprising me!

"I'll be downstairs if you need anything else." He waves his hand and closes the door.

I hurriedly put on the hoodie and take a deep breath. I love this smell, it smells like him. Cinnamon and colongne.

"Great! Problem solved!" Gabbie snaps me back in reality and I glance at her, blinking several times. "Now lets go already, because we're missing all the fun!" She says and opens the door.

When we go downstairs, I see that everybody are sitting in the living room, chatting and just having a good time. Gabbie quickly makes her way towards Zane and I sit next to David, who greets me with a kiss on the cheek. I look around and realize that I actually know every single person in the room. And not just know them, I'm friends with them.

I have struggled with my shyness and anxiety for so long, that at the end I wasn't even trying to find other friends. It was always just Gabbie and me. We've been best friends since kindergarten. And that was fine for me for a long time. Until I met David.

And now here I am, in a room full of an incredible group of cool and amazing people, that accepted and liked me just the way I am. They aren't just some random guys from school, that I've seen once or twice throughout the whole year. I know that I can count on them and they can count on me. They are all my friends and I'm proud to be called theirs.

I glance at David and can't hold my smile. He is so patient and understanding, that sometimes I think that he gives me more that I could ever give him. I trully, deeply love him.

"Are you all right, princess?" He looks me straight into the eyes, putting his arm over my shoulders and I slowly nod, still smiling.

"Yes, I've never been better!" I quietly say, resting my head on his shoulder.
