The 3 sent off to Rebirth joined up with others going with them, making a near single file line. 8002 stood in front of 8107, holding her right hand protectively. 8113 stood one person behind 8107, studying her closely but trying not to stare. The one she was watching was crying silently, her free hand covering her eyes and rubbing them. The tall boy looked back, stopped, and scooped her up in his arms, walking again.

She didn't protest, just held onto him while trying to cease her childish behaviour.

They arrived approximately 20 minutes after their ceremony and were sent to specified rooms. The tall male, who had gills and lavender colored scales dawning his pale-toned skin, requested to have a room with the horned girl. After negotiation, it was decided that they could. The other girl, 8113, had a room across and to the left of theirs.

Heading off, 8107 decided to smile and wave sympathetically to 8113, a slime girl with ombre colors, blue and green fading and swirling together beautifully. The other waved back a bit slowly, registering the action late. They went into their respective rooms and rested up for the next training day.

An inauguration was held the next day and each of them received a temporary tattoo that last until the next ceremony. It was a simple one, "R-T" or "Rebirth Trainee." The kids were all growing tired of calling everyone by their designated numbers, so they began making up names for each other. Sometimes there was a vote over some, other times it was just one name everyone liked. 8113 was Fox, 8107 was Silencer, and 8002 was Guardian.

Fox for the slime girl's sly, slippery nature. Silencer for how quiet the horned girl was. Guardian for the merman's protection over Silencer.

The other girl, who was one of Silencer and Guardian's friends, 8229, went on to be trained further. This was their education period. She became known as Historia for her love of US History.
