The test subjects were ushered outside in three separate lines. The leftmost line was Japanese, the middle held a mix of both, and the rightmost had Chinese. There were at least 500 to each country. Another line came in and then panned out, surrounding the others. These were the American subjects. Talk was kept to a minimum, if anything, as they await their orders.
General Biyu, a woman of 5'4 and built well, stood in front of her line while General Hisato, a man of 5'5, stood in front of his. General Zion, a man of 6'2, stood in the middle, the American general, and spat out information about subject 297. He then informed them about the subjects who escaped to TRAPPEL-1, including those who failed and the extraterrestrials living there.
After the speech and information was given, they were sent to large military trucks. Filed in and packed to the max, the trucks were soon on their way to the airport. There was a bigger obelisk there, one for docking and holding larger spaceships and for intergalactic trading. The drive took half an hour and, before they knew it, then were onboard a large spaceship and headed after Serpent. The said beast had traveled quite a distance before exiting the atmosphere and the planet. They had a tracker on him, but they didn't know how long it would last.
"TS-297 is headed northeast, towards TRAPPEL-1," informed a cyber operative.
Every subject came equipped with a source of breathable air sustainable for them alone. Each human had tanks of oxygen onboard and built into their suits.
The ship left the obelisk and then shot off towards the sky, headed for space, and then the planet.
Meanwhile, Serpent was swimming through space. They had strong lungs, built to withstand just about any atmosphere, even some toxins, so their journey would be easy. The vacuum of space hardly fazed it, if at all. They were headed for the planet in which they felt drawn to. Why, it wasn't sure, but it knew there had to be something there that was the cause. The journey took awhile, even with it's long body, but they arrived nonetheless.
Eyes flipped up to the sky as a creature's cry rang out across the land. These eyes landed on something big, something they hadn't seen before. The tallest bearer of eyes gathered his comrades and took them to their home. It was built out of wood and scrap metal, set in the forest and barricaded by trees and handmade spears. The four gathered inside and stayed close, checking outside for the thing. It swam over the sky, slithering like a snake but bearing four legs. It was a sky and land creature. It was coming closer.
It bellowed that shrill roar, giving the kids chills. They knew it had to be the same creature from Earth. But why was it here?
