Being forced to do all of this, a girl of 8107's size is often at their limit rather quickly. There's only so much she can do until collapsing. Each time she does, its noted and she's sent to rest for a day; given plenty of food and water, which consisted of organic foods and mineral water or milk. She's fallen 17 times since she's begun the intense training, much more than her peers. Worry spreads to a select few, and sometimes they even help her out, to which she tries to refuse.

Her actions and thoughts are constantly monitored by a chip implanted behind the left earlobe. Everything she does, thinks, or feels is immediately typed in its own document under her folder. She's given a rating after each day, her's being rather high but her physical exertion causing suspicion for the scientists.

There was talk amongst some of the other kids about her futile efforts and impending failure. Those who stuck close, only 2, kept telling her she was fine and that she just needed to slow down. "I'm fine," she kept telling them. They knew otherwise.

TS-8113 seems to show curiosity towards TS-8107, but never approaches her, too afraid of the tall boy, TS-8002.

There came a point in time where TS-8107's doctor and her scientist got together, talking about how to improve on her mental and physical strength. They proposed that they put meat in her diet and cut back on the track laps. It seems to help a little, but in the end it's just the same as before. High scores, but she's so worked to the bone that they don't matter. Picking day was getting close and the growing anxiety was clearly hitting this one particularly hard.

Time came and everyone either got their new specializations, or were sent elsewhere. Out of 300 patients, only 20 were sent elsewhere; among those was TS-8107, 8113, and 8002. Now, this place, which was known as Rebirth, was for those unable to pass. They were given a second chance at training and a second ceremony. If they failed this, they were sent off to Paradise; a nice way of saying they were getting scrapped.
