"Why are Silencer and Eyes' names here? They failed… they were sent to Paradise," Fox wondered aloud.
"Maybe its a misprint? Though these people seem to be pretty smart, so I don't think it is," Historia said.
"They were gonna send us anyway, they just have to have that research," Silencer said in a monotone voice. "Failed or not, they were gonna send us. Unless we turned into those… things."
"Sil? You're being really creepy…"
There was a soft giggle and then some footsteps. She headed for the ship with her name over it, which the others watched, and then looked at each other.
"We're just their puppets and toys, they use us how they want and then, when we become boring, they throw us away!~ How lovely."
Guardian shuffled over and stopped in front of the changed girl. "Silencer, snap out of it."
"Snap out of what? It's me, Silencer. TS-8107. Failure."
He grabbed her by the shoulders harshly, towering over her now, and gave her a glare. She grinned up at him sickly. The few left watched and got antsy, they had to get going.
"We don't have time for this, just knock her out before I do," the slime girl stated, sighing after. She pulled the others along towards the ship. "Looks like we're taking this one, huh?"
Guardian glanced over at her, then back to the shorter girl and rolled his eyes. "Yes. Unless you wanna split up."
The ship was platinum colored with two stripes running from the nose to the tail which were a pastel purple. The lettering on the side was a dark blue, which read the planet it was headed to. The kids headed inside of it slowly, looking around at the silver interior and the metal seats with blue cushions. They took seats wherever. The siren ordered Silencer beside him, to which she sat down obediently. She seemed to have calmed down a little.
"How does this thing work?"
"Maybe we…"
Something clicked when it was pressed and the engine roared to life. Everyone buckled up and prepared themselves for what might happen. A few minutes passed, and then another button was pressed and the ship began moving! It rolled a little ways, then turned upward to begin its lift off process. There was a quiet countdown.
Then the ship took off, leaving the obelisk slowly. It went forward until it left, then sped up to get past the atmosphere. The kids looked pale and sick, though otherwise okay. Then, the spacecraft jettisoned forward, leaving the gravitational field and throwing the passengers back against their seats.
It slowed some and then went at a steady pace towards the east, headed for its destination.
