"You know what's funny?" James whispered over to Lily during transfiguration. "Beautiful and Lily Evans both have nine letters. So does 'Let's go out'. And if you wanna tag along, 'Sure James' also has nine."
"James Potter has eleven letters and so does annoying git."
"Touché Evans."
"Potter, what are you talking about that is more important than my class?" McGonagall snapped, striking her wand on his desk.
James jumped and faced her, "Gryffindor."
McGonagall gave him an odd look but none-the-less walked away, continuing her lesson.
James leaned over to Lily, who was utterly confused, and whispered, "Ten letters, McGonagall and Gryffindor."
