It was dinner and as usual, Dumbledore had a small speech, though it was very short. "If you could have anything in the world what would it be?" And then stepped down returning to his seat.

The hall burst into noise as everyone began digging in. 

"I'd have a flying motorcycle," Sirius said. "They're so cool!"

Remus rolled his eyes. Sirius was obsessed with them. "I think I'd have no more furry little problems."

The Marauders nodded in agreement not sure what else to say. 

"I'd have a date with Lily Evans," James said louder than needed. 

Lily looked over, "I'd have James Potter stop asking me out." She turned back to see Marlene, Hestia, and Mary staring at her with raised eyebrows. "What?"

"She's in denial," Marlene said. 

"I'm not." 

"She's scared," Mary added. 

"I most certainly am not scared of Potter!" 

"She's so in love," Hestia sighed. 

"Sod off."

Marlene shook her head, "Lily there will be one day when he will give up and you'll regret it. I promise you or my name is not Marlene McKinnon."

Lily sighed, brushing off their comments. Marlene was crazy, having Potter stop asking her out would be better than anything. She actually enjoyed his company and their new friendship. Marlene was just bonkers...Or was she?
