Ch27 - Old Sitcoms

My face scrunched up and my eyes shot open as I gasped for air. My nostrils were filled with it, the sickening stench and I couldn't help but gag. The decaying scent choked the air. I took a ragged breath through my mouth, trying to spot the source of the smell.

"Eww.." I breathed heavily until I noticed that I was laying down on a couch my chest bandaged, I was in my black bra, and I was wearing my pink pajama shorts.

I never took any pajama's to Ivy's...

"You're finally awake doll-face." I heard a familiar voice ring in my ears as I struggled to sit up feeling jolts of pain in my chest.

There in front of me sat a tall slim figure holding a red tea cup in his pale bony hands. My breath hitched and I smiled happily ignoring the pain. "Mistah J I've missed ya!" My tiny hands reached to wrap around his toned body but he pushed me away.

"Here you go kid." He shoved the warm cup of tea into my hands.

"Thanks Puddin'!" I smiled feeling a blush creep up my neck as I began to sip on the sweet liquid taste.

"Don't call me that!" He snapped as he rolled his eyes and got up walking towards the counter, "Blair is fired and I made sure of it."

I couldn't help but giggle gesturing a gun in my hands and pulling the imaginary trigger "Fired like you fired?" Carefully I made my way up to him and wrapped my hands around his bare torso. I felt his body tense up from my gentle touch as I took in his cliché sent. All the fibers of my body rose as I realized my bare chest was pressed up against his back. The warmth of his body made me exhale and push myself deeper into his skin.

"Yep he deserved it, shooting at my things, that bastard. I'm only allowed to do that aren't I Harley-girl?" He chuckled lightly and I felt his body move from his deep raspy voice.

I took a step back to admire his body while his green hair fell into his face as he made some sandwiches "Mhm." Nodding I reached for the food but he slapped my hands away, "Owie.." Gaining up the courage I jumped up and planted a kiss on his left cheek.

"Harley." He grumbled under his breath as he walked past me towards the t.v.

"What we watchin' Pud?" I happily hopped over to the couch where I had woken up earlier.

"Old sitcoms, nothing like a good laugh heh." He stated as I bit my lip snuggling next to him. He sighed irritatingly and pulled me closer to his body not looking at me even once. Grinning I watched him hand me one of the sandwiches and I bit into it hungrily looking up at his cool demeanor as he switched on the television. I didn't bother to look at the t.v after all he was my one and only entertainment, he was on a pedestal for me and nobody would take that away from me.

Well at least I hoped that they wouldn't.

My eyes widened as a bright and jolly laugh left his mouth. I had never seen him laugh that way around me, not even once. "Did you see that Harls! She's hilarious!" He raised his voice and pointed his incident finger at the screen clutching his stomach whilst moving wildly on the couch. I felt my heart drop.

"She?" I watched his body rock from laugher and felt tears well up in my eyes.

"Weren't you paying attention!" He snapped his head towards me and shoved me off the couch as I squirmed and squealed from the stinging pain when I fell on my side. I stood up rubbing my shoulder tentatively as he continued staring at the screen.

"I thought I was funny..." I trailed off

Big mistake.

"What!" He shouted, "You think you're funny? Out of all things you think you're funny? You stupid dame! Hah! What a joke." Rolling his eyes he stared at me and I began to shift helplessly in one spot. "You hear that! She think's she's funny." He spoke to the t.v.
