"No, you get up," I told Luke as I continued watching TV.

"Lana, if I get up, you'll have to get up anyway. You're literally laying on top of me," Luke said and I started to whine. "How about we go together?"

"Fine," I said, sighing lightly as I stood up. I pulled on Luke's arms, but he didn't budge.

"Nah, you can go." I took my hands away from his and crossed my arms as I began to pout. He laughed at me and tried to reach for my hands, but I moved back. "Lana, can you please go get my phone?"

"No," I told him, shaking my head. "I'll go get mine, but I'll purposely leaves yours." I turned on the ball of my foot and started to walk to the bedroom. After a couple seconds, I heard Luke get up and start following me.

"You're so difficult," he joked with me as we got into the room. He tackled me onto the bed and I yelled, but eventually started to laugh. He immediately began to kiss my jaw and I continued to giggle.

"Luke, come on. Jack will be here any minute," I reminded Luke and he pulled away from me.

"I know that," he told me and went back to kissing my jaw. He started to trail down my neck and I sighed.

"Luke, you're going to tell him verbally and that's final." I pushed on Luke's shoulder and he rolled over onto his back and laid beside of me. I sat up and faced him as I crossed my legs over one another. I placed my hands on his stomach and he held my wrists in his hands. "You'll be okay."

"I know," he told me, closing his eyes. "Lana, if Jack doesn't approve we're completely fucked."

"Luke, would you trust me for five seconds? Everything will be fine," I sighed and moved closer to him. "There are people in a lot worse relationships, okay? It's not like this is the first time someone has dated their ex's sibling, which means it's not the first time that someone has dated their sibling's ex." Luke sat up and looked at me intently.

"I just don't want him or anybody else to think of you differently." I looked down at my lap and Luke laid his hands on my thighs as he talked to me. "We're just in a difficult situation."

"I know we are," I said, nodding my head. "We should've given ourselves time. It wouldn't look half as bad if we just reconnected in a couple months... I don't know, we haven't come up for air once."

"Yeah, you're right," Luke said, nodding his head. "I'm sorry we're going so quickly, I'm not trying to."

"No, it's not your fault, Luke." I shook my head and started to really think about how fast we were going. We had only known each other for a few weeks and look where we were. "It's not anyone's fault."

"Maybe we shouldn't tell Jack... or my parents," Luke said after a long silence. I looked over at him and furrowed my eyebrows. "I just think maybe we should figure things out... I don't know. I feel like we get so far and then we completely backtrack, so we're just not getting anywhere, and I think it's because we keep overthinking everything. Maybe we really do just need to take our time."
