I rolled over on top of Luke and leaned down to kiss him. He continued to kiss me back passionately as he traced his hands up and down my sides.
I heard someone from the hall, and immediately broke away from Luke. I didn't need either of the boys giving us a hard time.
"Happy birthday, Luke!" Dustin and Calum rushed into the room and my eyes widened as I saw a birthday cake in their hands. I could immediately tell they had made it and I smiled widely. I looked over at Luke and he was laughing.
"We were running late today because we were making this," Calum said as he took the cake from Dustin and handed it to Luke. "You can't eat it yet, midnight snacks aren't good for twenty year olds."
"Is it a breakfast cake?" I asked and Dustin turned to me as he nodded. "Ah, the best kind." I smiled over at Luke and he smiled at me.
"Thank you, guys," Luke said as he wrapped his arms around Dustin and Calum. They both laughed and wrapped their arms around Luke as well.
"We'll put the cake away. We were going to keep it a secret until the party, but we were so excited," Calum explained, laughing lightly as he looked down at the small cake.
"It might not taste very good," Dustin said in a apologetic tone.
"Dustin, don't be so negative. It'll taste great," Calum scolded Dustin and got an eye roll in response. "This is also a way for me to apologize for being obnoxious earlier. I'm sorry for chewing you out, Luke. You didn't deserve that."
"It's okay, Cal. I'm sorry you've been dealing with a lot." Luke wrapped his arms around Calum and they hugged for a couple seconds before pulling away from each other.
"Alright, I guess we'll leave you two alone," Dustin said as he stood up from the bed. He winked in my direction and I rolled my eyes as I blushed.
"Yeah, we'll get out of your hair. Happy birthday, dude," Calum said as he ruffled Luke's hair. Luke swatted his hand away and Calum chuckled as he stepped out of Luke's reach. "We're waking you up with breakfast in bed."
"Only if you bring Lana something, too," Luke said, pulling me closer to him.
"Of course, anything for the queen. Goodnight, guys," Dustin said as he laughed quietly. He waved to us and we waved at both of them before they left the room and closed the door.
"That was really nice of them," I said, staring over at the door.
"You know what else was nice of them?" Luke asked me as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I slowly looked away from the door and at him, my eyebrow raised to question him. "Them leaving us alone." Luke tackled me down onto the bed and I giggled as I wrapped my arms around him. He started to kiss my neck and he trailed down to my collarbones. "One second," he said as he pulled away. Luke got off of the bed, and I propped myself up on my elbows as I watched him walk to the door. He locked the door to our room and I arched an eyebrow at him.
