"I'm glad Calum and Dustin got back, I really didn't want to get a cab," Luke said as we walked out of Calum's apartment. I nodded in agreement, but didn't say anything. Luke's hand found mine and he intertwined our fingers slowly as we walked down the stairs to the parking lot. "You okay?"

"Yeah," I told him, smiling over at him to reassure him I was fine. "It's surprising how tired I am considering I slept all day." I laughed quietly and started to swing Luke's arm by swinging my own.

"We don't have to stay out for very long," Luke promised, but I waved it off.

"I want to stay out for as long as we can," I told him and he shrugged, but told me he'd be okay with whatever I wanted. We got to Calum's car, and I separated from Luke to get on the other side of the car. We both got in and took a few minutes to get situated.

"How do you feel about the beach?" Luke asked, looking over at me as he turned the key in the ignition.

"I'll say one thing: shell yeah," I said, making a pun and watched as Luke's face twisted in confusion. I sighed at him not getting my joke, and started to explain, but he suddenly got it and smiled widely. He began to laugh and I shook my head at him with a smile on my face.

"That was good," he applauded me and I laughed, but thanked him.

"Thanks, I saw the opportunaty and took it." Luke sent me a blank face and I frowned. "Sorry, that was shrimply annoying." I laughed at myself and Luke laughed lightly as he shook his head at me.

"You're proud of yourself, aren't you?"

"Oh, dolphinitely." I smiled at Luke, but he just continued to shake his head.

"I didn't know you were so into puns, Lana, I'm really surprised," Luke told me and I shrugged.

"Yeah, it's kind of a problem. Maybe you could kelp me out," I said, starting to become annoyed with myself. "Okay, I'm really sorry. I told you I was tired, this is what happens." Luke and I laughed quietly, but as it died down, so did our conversation.

"Uh, do you want to stop by someplace and get something to eat?"

"Sure," I said, thinking that sounded nice. I hadn't really eaten anything since breakfast, so I could use some food. Luke took a left turn and before too long we arrived at a little restaurant that seemed to be fairly empty.

"The guys and I went here all the time back in the day, I'm curious to see if their food is still as good as it used to be," Luke told me as we started to get out of the car. "Wait, don't get out of the car yet," he told me and I furrowed my eyebrows. Luke got out on his side, and closed his door. I kept my eye on him and, as I saw him start to make his way over to my side, I knew he was coming to open my door for me.

He opened my door swiftly and smiled at me sweetly. He held out his hand, and I took it gingerly as I got out of the car. He shut the door once I was out and placed his hand on the small of my back as he walked behind me. He leaned down and kissed my temple, and as I turned my head, we both leaned into each other and gave each other a peck on the lips.

As we walked into the restaurant, I was relieved that it smelled appetizing and that it seemed homey inside. We waited to be seated, and once we were, we waited for our waiter to come and take our drink order.

"Hey, guys. I'm Cassidy and I'll be your—holy shit." I looked over at the petite blonde waitress, with an oddly subtle Australian accent, that had walked up to the table and furrowed my eyebrows. She was looking over at Luke, and I realized he was looking over at her. All of a sudden her name clicked and I began to feel myself become flustered.
