(Trigger Warning for a little homophobia)
George Eacker had not meant to break Philip Hamilton's arm.
Well, he had meant to, he did break it, but seeing Philip try to hold back his tears as he clutched his lower left arm, George had sincerely regretted his actions.
And the only reason that Philip's arm was broken was George's stupid mouth.
Here they were in the highschool parking lot, after hours, because George was a coward and had to open his stupid mouth.
-flashback to earlier that week-
"How horrible must it be to have faggot parents, Philip? I bet they made you a fag like them, hm?" George's stupid mouth said to Philip's back.
Philip's back tensed "What did you say about my pops'?" He asked. George could see Theodosia Burr staring at him angrily over Philip's shoulder.
"I said your dad's are fags, Hamilton." George said.
"Parking lot on Friday, 6:30pm. I'll beat you into the ground, Eacker." Philip said, walking away.
-end of flashback-
But the thing about Philip was that he wasn't a fighter, he just mimicked his Pops.
And the thing about George was that he wasn't homophobic, he was just afraid of what his Father would do to him if he ever found out he was gay.
And so it was settled. In the parking lot, Friday, 6:30pm.
And George had broken Philip's arm and regretted it.
All because of George's stupid mouth.
"What the Hell, Eacker?" Theodosia Burr yelled, wrapping her arms around her best friend "why do you have to be such a homophobic bitch?!"
The words seemed to cut into George, but why?
He knew he seemed like a homophobic bitch, and it wasn't like he had a crush on Theodosia, so why did the words hurt so much?
George realized why they hurt as Philip was loaded into Theodosia's car to go to the hospital.
This was the first time his words had ever physically hurt someone.
