(I'm writing this on shitty school WiFi that uses up my phone battery really fast...this should be fun.)

"What time is it?" George asked Philip, who was sitting upside down on the couch. Philip pulled out his phone and checked "7:48." He said.

George sighed and leaned back, bored. A few more minutes passed before Philip began awkwardly trying to twist around in his current position.

"What are you doing?" George asked in mild amusement as Philip fell off the couch.

"I have to feed my turtles." Philip said, standing up.

"Jeez, how many pets does your family have?" George asked.

"A fucking lot!" Philip said, beginning to climb the stairs "You can come help me feed them if you want."

"Ok." George agreed, getting up and following Philip.

Reaching the top of the stairs, George couldn't help but wonder why Philip's family had so many books.

The landing was a large room with several doors leading off of it, and covering every wall were bookcases, all of which were crammed full of books. A desk, an office chair, and a small couch sat near a wall, also covered in books. And that wasn't even all of it, the floor was covered in several piles of them, and in a room leading off of the landing George could see even more.

"Welcome to our in-home library." Philip giggled, noticing George's surprised expression.

"Why do you have so many books?" George asked, walking over to a shelf and pulling out a book at random.

"My Pops loves books, and he brings home any he can get his hands on." Philip said "They've kinda piled up over the years."

The book George had pulled off the shelf was The Wizard of Oz. George pulled out the book next book on the shelf, which was some old math textbook. "They aren't in any particular order." Philip added.

Philip maneuvered his way through the piles of books and opened another door. "My turtles are in my room." He said.

Philip's room was very similar to the personality of the person who resided in it. The unmade double bed that was pushed into a corner across from the door was covered in a multitude of colorful blankets, quilts, and pillows. The nightstand next to it held some books and a lamp. The two windows on the far wall were both decorated in yellow curtains, and the wide windowsills were adorned with a variety of small figurines and other things. A desk sat against the wall opposite the bed, holding a closed laptop plus several textbooks and pages of homework. A large, dark wood, wardrobe sat next to the desk, its door closed. Three different colorful rugs covered the hardwood floor. Against the wall the door was set in, a turtle tank sat on a small table.

"These are Diana, Leia, and Bubblegum." Philip said, pointing each of them out in turn.

"After the princesses?" George asked. Philip nodded excitedly "You actually got it!" He said.

"Well, Diana was an actual princess, and Star Wars is pretty popular." George said.

"Ya, but not as many people watch Adventure Time." Philip said, opening a container of lettuce and chopped carrots and dropping some of the contents into the tank.

"I'm not super dedicated to it, I just watch it when it's on TV." George said, watching the turtle princesses dive off the rocks in the corner and into the shallow water of the tank to eat their food.

"But you still got the reference." Philip said. George shrugged.

"Philip? Are you up there?" George heard Theodosia call from the bottom of the stairs.

"Ya," Philip called back "George and I were just feeding the princess turtles!"
