Chapter Fifty Two - Homecoming Kick Off

(I totally didn't forget about Homecoming! This is all planned! I know exactly what will happen!)

The school system that Bluesville Highschool was in was rather weird when it came to Homecoming.

Usually, schools had Homecoming at the beginning of the year, and the Homecoming football game was one of the first games of the season.

Not Bluesville and it's sibling schools though.

Homecoming was held on one of the last days of November, and the football game was the last of the season.

Because why be normal when you can be difficult and do things different even though it's unnecessary.

Monday was the start of the week leading up to Homecoming, so it was the start of spirit week. Monday was Pajama Day, which George was happy about.

George opened his locker and pulled out his math textbook for his 1st hour class. Students were allowed to bring bags to class, so he didn't bother getting anything out of his backpack.

Fellow students milled around him, laughing, excited for Homecoming. A lot of them had found ridiculous pajamas and onesies to wear, but not George. He had stuck with the usual gray sweatpants and black t-shirt he wore to bed.

"George!" Philip called from halfway down the hall. He was wearing leggings with swirls of colors and a green long-sleeved shirt. His curls, for once, we're pulled up in twin buns.

Philip hurried to where George was standing and climbed onto his back.

"What are you doing?" George asked even though he didn't mind Philip on his back. Philip wasn't that heavy, and this was probably the closest they would ever get to doing boyfriend-boyfriend stuff.

"I'm tired." Philip pouted, burying his face into George's neck "Carry me, please."

George hummed in response and closed his locker to go find the rest of their friends.

"Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeey look at my onesie!" G yelled when he saw Philip and George.

G was dressed in a cat onesie, and seemed delighted with himself. He was standing in front of the vending machines with Eston, who was blushing, probably because of G's outfit.

"What's up?" George asked them.

"We're getting Doritos, and then we're gonna find Dick because he's probably in just underwear or completely naked." G said. Philip giggled.

Later they found Dick, who was not naked, but wearing a bathrobe, and was probably naked under that.

A fabulous start to the Homecoming week.

(It's like 70 degrees fahrenheit and raining, and I have my window open and I'm ready for summer even though it's like nine weeks away.)
