"So what are you and Philip going as for Halloween?" G asked Dick, sitting down on the bench between George and Dick after they had run laps around the field.
"It's a secret." Dick said, taking a drink from his waterbottle.
"So? Tell me."
"No."
"But I'm your best friend!"
"Says who?"
G leaned back and put his hand over his heart in mock offense. Dick snickered. George fought back a laugh.
"Come on! I'll even sing Blue from Heathers with you~!" G whined, wrapping his arms around Dick's neck.
"Please don't." George sighed.
"Heyyyyy, 'Rrrrrronica." Dick said, turning his attention to a freshman nearby.
"My name's not 'Ronica?" They said like it was a question.
"Don't talk mean like that!" G whined.
"You'll hurt their feelings!" Dick said.
"You make my balls so blue." They sang together, standing up simultaneously.
"You hurt them badly." G sang, letting go of Dick's neck to approach the freshman.
"You make my balls so blue." Dick sang, following G.
"They're hangin' sadly."
"What did they do to you that made you hate them so?"
"Don't run from me-"
"They're all beat up like a tackling dummy!" They sang together, backing the freshman into a corner.
"They long for your embrace." G sang.
"They're warm like mittens!" Dick followed.
"They'll curl up on your face!"
"And purr like kittens!"
"You make my balls so-"
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TWO DOING TO THAT FRESHMAN?!" the coach yelled, cutting G off.
"Nothin' coach! Just singing to him!" G yelled back as their coach stomped across the field.
"You need to stop scaring younger grades, because if you scare them all off, Bluesville won't have a team to beat Spring Acres in a couple of years!"
"Like we'll ever beat Spring Acres." Dick said, rolling his eyes.
"Both of you! Five more laps! Now!" The coach yelled.
The two grumbled a bit then began running their five laps, Dick easily out-running G because of his long legs.
"I don't know what I'll ever do with them." The coach mumbled.
"Don't worry coach, only about eight more months before we graduate." Eston said.
"Eight more months until we loose some amazing players." Coach said, putting his arms around Eston and George's shoulders.
"Thanks, Coach." George said.
"Now head up to the weight room once those two idiots are down with their laps." Coach said, herding the rest of the team towards the highschool.
Eston sighed and leaned back on the bench next to George, watching G and Dick sprint around the field.
"Eight more months." was all he said.
(Bluesville is the town they all live in near New York and Spring Acres is a rival town. To be clear, I made them up, and I'm sorry if they resemble any other towns.
Also, G and Dick were singing Blue from the musical Heathers, which is also a movie on Netflix, and I suggest you listen to the soundtrack and watch the movie because they're both really good.)
