They promised they'd be best friends forever, that no matter what happend they would always have eachother. Everyone spoke about their unbreakable friendship...But when Emma needed Regina...She was nowhere to be found.
Where were you, when everything was falling apart?
Killian had cheated. Her parents had disowned her because of it. They blamed her, said it was her fault that a good man like him would just walk away from their perfect relationship that she clearly wasn't giving him what he wanted and needed.
Her best friend was nowhere to be found.
All my days were spent by the telephone that never rang
Emma layed curled up in bed, crying into her pillows. Her phone constantly charged because she didn't have the energy to move around. She didn't have the energy to get out of the house. She had been layed in bed crying, only sleeping for five minutes for the past two days. She had eaten. She was getting weaker.
All I needed was a call that never came
She wanted Regina to call, because she knew that hearing her voice would give her strength. But her phone remained silent. No calls or texts. It was as if, Regina was just her imagination...Like she didn't exist. She only lived in her dreams.
Lost and insecure
Regina didn't know what to do, she had been run off the road on the way to see Emma, her phone had been damaged that bad it wouldn't turn on. She was trapped. Her leg was stuck and she couldn't move her right arm. She could smell and taste the blood. She could feel the blood, slowly dripping down her face.
She needed Emma. Emma needed her.
"I'll find you." Regina whispered as she began to get weaker. "I'll...Always...Find you." She said as her eyes slowly closed and her body went limp.
You found me, you found me lying on the floor
Emma knew something was wrong, so she weakly rolled out of bed, losing her footing and falling on the hard wooden floor.
She just layed there, unable to move. Her body was too weak.
"I go away for two days and you decide to starve yourself and then camp on the floor?"
"My whole life fell apart without you Gina. Where were you?" Emma said as she rolled her head to the side and looked at the dark haired woman.
"Traffic was awful, there was a horrible car accident. Some drunk teens ran a woman off of the road...Sorry I'm late." Regina apologised as she turned her head to face Emma.
"It feels like years I've been without you." Emma said as she began to feel tired.
"No...Just two days...But I'm never leaving you again."
Emma gave a weak smile as she felt arms wrap around her.
"I'm so tired Regina."
"Go to sleep. I'll be waiting for you."
Emma cuddled closer to Regina and let her eyes close.

"I'm sorry for what your Mother and I put you through Emma. We should never have said those words. Said those mean, awful things and now we can't take them back. When we saw what happend on the news to Regina it was at that moment that we knew she was with you during your final moments. Watching you. Protecting you. You two really did have an unbreakable friendship. I'm sorry it took too long for us to say sorry and I'm sorry it took us too long to find you." David said in front of Emma's gravestone.
"You were just like us. You always found eachother. Sadly...Even in death." Mary-Margret cried.
Emma stood behind them, she smiled and rested her hands on both of their shoulders.
"I forgive you. I love you Mom and Dad." She smiled before removing her hands and turning around to face Regina.
"You ready?" Regina smiled holding her hand out.
"I'm scared." Emma admited.
"Don't be, in our next life I'll find you there. I will always find you Emma Swan but for now, you have a job to do. Watch and protect your parents."
Emma took Regina's hand and smiled. "I'm ready."
A/N: Another for EvilRegal10lp! I'm sorry it's not the entire song again, I didn't know how to fit some of it in and knowing me I would have made it boring. Hope you enjoyed! 😊
