It was Friday night, Regina and Emma had been invited to Granny's to celebrate Snow and David's engagment. They were renewing their wedding vows and of course Snow wanted to celebrate with all of her friends and family.
You fix your make up, just so
Emma was layed on the bed, playing on her phone whilst Regina did her make up for the third time. Every now and then, Emma would glance up and shake her head. Her girlfriend didn't need all of that make up.
Guess you don't know, that you're beautiful
Everyone else could see the beauty within Regina. On the inside and the outside but she couldn't and it broke Emma's heart.
Regina finally finished her make up and she quickly walked to her closet and began to search through her clothes for something nice to wear.
Try on every dress that you own
She tried on a blue dress that ended just below her knees.
She didn't like that.
She tried on a black dress that ended above her knees.
She didn't like that.
She tried on a red dress dress that ended below her knees with a black leather jacket.
Emma liked that. Regina didn't.
She eventually chose a green dress with the back exposed, which caused Emma to sigh sadly.
You were fine in my eyes, a half hour ago
She hated how Regina tried to make herself look perfect all the time, like she was trying to be a model. Regina was beautiful just the way she is and the blonde wished her girlfriend would see herself like she saw her.
Beautiful no matter what.
If your mirror won't make it any clearer I'll be the one to let you know
"Oh my." Regina gasped looking in the mirror. "This dress makes me look awful. It doesn't look right on me at all."
"Hey." Emma said as gently grabbed Regina's wrist and spun her around. "That's how you're seeing yourself. To me, you are beautiful. Sexy. Gorgeous. Hot. Amazing. Pretty. Cute." Emma smiled. "Every word that describes how beautiful you look, that's you."
Regina gave a small smile as she wrapped her arms around Emma in a loving hug.
"We should probably go now." Regina said. "Don't want to be late."

As they walked through the streets of Storybrooke, Emma interwined their fingers as they walked.
Out of all the girls you my one and only girl ain't nobody in the world tonight
They reached Granny's and Regina instantly felt insecure, there were so many pretty girls here and some of them were checking Emma out.
She tensed up and Emma quickly wrapped her arms around Regina and began to kiss her slowly and passionatly.
"You're the only girl I want. These girls are nothing but strangers and I don't want to get to know them. I love you Regina." Emma whispered when she pulled away.
"I love you too."
Ain't nobody in the world but you and I
"It's you and me Regina. My life is just you and me. That's all I want."
Regina's grin grew as they walked into Granny's. She had the girl and the girl wanted her. Nobody could break them apart. They had a special, unbreakable bond. They were in love, deeply in love and with her, Regina felt wanted, she felt beautiful, worth it...She felt loved she was glad it was just her and Emma.
That was the perfect life.
