Bad Place Part Two

Emma's body shook with her sobs, she banged her head against the wall over and over, causing herself to have a headache.

Her phone started to ring, she jumped up quickly hoping it was Regina. She wiped her nose and cleared her throat and reached for her phone only to see it was David calling. She threw her phone at the wall, smashing the screen.

She sat on the edge of her bed, holding the sheets tightly, ignoring the stinging pain on her knuckles from when she punched the wall.

She began to feel sick, her head was throbbing. All she wanted was to curl up into a ball and let the World go on without her.

Regina rested her hands behind her head as she paced her living room. She made a mistake in leaving Emma. She promised she wouldn't be like him...Like Killian...But she wasn't. She had said she didn't want to speak for a few days, but Emma thought the worse. Killian had said that, but he never came back.

Regina quickly grabbed her phone and called Emma, but there was no answer. She tried again and again, but no answer.

"Screw it." She huffed and marched out of the door and to Emma's apartment.

She knocked on the door but there was no answer. She knocked a few more times and waited but still no answer. She sighed and was about to walk away when she heard something from the inside.

Glass shattering.

"Emma?!" She yelled panicked.

She knocked on the door louder but still no answer. She began to hit the door with her shoulder until it finally opened.

She rushed in and looked around, she heard quiet sobs from the bathroom, she slowly walked towards the room and her heart broke at the sight.

Broken pieces of the bathroom mirror layed scattered on the ground and Emma stood with her hand covering part of her wrist as blood trickled through her fingers.

"I'm sorry." She whimpered.

Regina walked over and helped Emma over the broken pieces of mirror, careful not to hurt her feet. Without saying a word she sat Emma down on the bed and then walked to the kitchen and grabbed the first aid kit from the top cupboard.

She opened it up and pulled out some gauze and bandages. She quickly walked over to Emma and sat on the bed next to her.

She gently tended to Emma's cuts which were thankfully not deep.

"I'm sorry." Emma whimpered again as Regina finished wrapping the bandage around her wrist. "I just...Everything had been getting to me the past few months and losing you...It sent me over the edge."

Regina grabbed her hand and interlocked their fingers.

"You haven't lost me. I promise I'm not going anywhere. The things you said hurt...But what I said hurt you more and it made me seem like him. I am NOT him. I never will be. I love you Emma Swan. I'm not going anywhere." Regina said before pressing her lips on Emma's forhead.

"I love you Regina." Emma sniffled as she rested her head against Regina's chest.

"I love you too Emma." Regina whispered as she wrapped an arm around Emma and held her close. "I always will."
