I confess I am lost

It was Monday, the day after Regina had been to church. Her family was very religious. They weren't the nice ones who accepted gays or who didn't push their beliefs into the faces of others weren't part of their religon.

Whenever Regina's Mother, Cora saw a same-sex couple she push them apart and tell them that they're going to Hell...But then she'd calmly explain if they stop being gay and ask God for forgivness after they had commited such a sin then they would be allowed into Heaven when they died.

Regina disliked her Mother alot for this, mainly because...She liked girls...But she also liked boys so maybe it would be okay if she told her Mother she was bi.

But Regina didn't know what to do, she prayed to God...Saying how sorry she is for letting him down. She confessed to him how she felt so alone in this big World, how she felt lost...Her life wasn't going in any direction it just seemed to be a repeat of the day before. Her life was going in one big circle.

Suddenly, a light tapping noise was heard coming from her bedroom window, she quickly walked over with a smile knowing who it was.

"Hey Gina!" The blonde whisper yelled.

"Hello Miss Swan."

Emma Swan. Regina's only friend. They weren't allowed to be friends though because the Swan-Charmings weren't Christian. They weren't religious and Regina's Mother, Cora...Only wanted Regina to have religious friends.

"I gotta show ya something." Emma said excitedly causing Regina to smile.

She quickly looked to make sure her bedroom door was shut and then proceeded to carefully climb out of the window and use the vines on the side of her house to climb down.

She lost her grip near the end and began to fall but Emma caught her and Emma held on tight.

"Are you alright?" Emma asked concerned and Regina laughed.

"Of course I am Dear, you don't have to worry about me."

Emma chuckled and gently let go of Regina before they took off running to their little hang out spot.

They eventually made it, both of them breathing heavy as they stopped.

"Why do we insist on running?" Regina laughed as she slowly caught her breath.

"So we have more time to do this." Emma said before walking closer to Regina, cupping her face gently and kissing her slowly.

"Oh...How you've disappointed me Regina."

"Mother." Regina gasped as she pulled away from Emma.

Cora took a few steps towards them and Emma stood in front of Regina.

"I don't care what you say, Regina and I are happy together. Miss Mills, I love your daughter with all my heart."

"You love her?" Cora smiled.

"I do."

"That's all I ever wanted for you Regina, to be loved."

Regina stood next to Emma and held her hand. They smiled at eachother and Cora frowned.

Shots were fired on the street
by the church where we used to meet

A loud bang echoed around, and Emma fell to the ground, but Regina managed to catch her and she layed her down gently.

"MOTHER!" Regina cried as she looked up to see Cora pointing a gun at Emma.

"No daughter of mine shall be gay. You have put shame on this family. You're going to Hell!"
