Walking down 29th and park
It had only been a month. One month that she had screwed everything up with Regina by sleeping with her best friend Killian. They were both drunk, so drunk they didn't know their names. Emma couldn't remember a thing but she knew just how much she had hurt Regina.
She walked down the street on her own, alone and lonely. All she wanted was the love of her life back. Everything seemed so dull and colourless without her.
I saw you in another's arms
Something inside of Emma, told her to look up and when she did, her heart broke. She saw Regina across the street, her arms wrapped around Robin's neck and his arms around her waist, pulling her closer as they shared a kiss.
Only a month we've been apart
It had only been a month! How could she move on so quickly?! It was as if she never truely cared about Emma.
You look happier
Emma saw the look on her face, it was the same way Regina looked at Emma...Except there seemed to be more light in her eyes and more happiness in her smile. She was happier with Robin than she ever was with Emma.
Saw you walk inside a bar
They were stood outside The Rabbit Hole, and as they slowly broke apart she saw Robin say something and she nodded her head and they entered the bar.
Emma quickly followed. She knew she shouldn't but she hadn't seen Regina in a month and this was probably going to be her only chance in a long time.
He said something to make you laugh
Laughter filled the bar as Emma entered and she recognised the laugh as Regina's. They were sat in a booth with some of Robin's friends and Robin had just moved away from Regina's ear. This caused Emma's blood to boil but it was her own fault this was happening.
I saw that both your smiles were twice as wide as ours
The smiles on their faces only grew, causing Emma's heart to hurt more. She never made Regina smile like that.
Yeah you look happier, you do
Emma made her way to the bar and sat down, asking for a bottle of beer as she ignored Regina's laughs.
Ain't nobody hurt you like I hurt you
It was all Emma's fault, by betraying her in the worst possible way. But it was an accident.

Emma rolled her eyes as she remembered all the mistakes Regina made and not once did she break up with her. They sorted through the problems together. She loved Regina no matter what she would say or do. Nobody could break them.
I knew one day you'd fall for someone new.
Emma knew that if they were ever to break up, Regina would fall in love with someone else, she didn't expect it to happen so quickly. She didn't expect them to break up ever, but they did.
But if he breaks your heart like lovers do
"WHAT THE HELL ROBIN?!" She heard Regina yell.
Emma turned around on the chair, to see Regina, Robin and another woman stood up.
"Regina I don't know who she is."
"I'm your wife Robin. We have a son together. Roland. Remember him?!"
"You have the wrong man. I'm sorry."
"Yeah?" The woman challenged. She reached into his pocket and snatched his wallet and opened it up. "Then why is there a picture of you, me and Roland in your wallet?!"
Regina's eyes filled with tears and she slapped Robin with all the strength she had.
Emma leaped from her place, as Robin lunged at Regina and hit her across the face.
Emma pulled him off and began to punch him over and over again until his wife begged her to stop.
"You stay away from her!" She warned with one last punch.
She turned her attention to Regina who threw herself at Emma and held her tightly. Emma wrapped her arms around Regina and kissed the top of her head.
"I'm sorry for everything." She cried.
"I should be the one who's sorry, I slept with someone else."
"I know, I'm not excusing what you've done but some people don't have control over themselves when they're drunk. You hurt me. You betrayed me...It'll take some time but I wanna work on us."
"I'd like that." Emma smiled as she gently squeezed Regina.
Regina looked up, and Emma frowned as she saw the small cut on her lip.
She couldn't help herself as she leaned in and gently captured Regina's lips with her own.
Just know that I'll be here waiting for you
"I love you Regina Mills, I don't care how much time you need because I will give it to you. I was stupid enough to let you go once. I'm never doing it again. I'll wait no matter how long to call you mine because when you truely love someone, nothing else matters except them and you never give up on them."
"I'm so much happier with you Emma." Regina sighed as she rested her head on Emma's shoulder.
"And I'm happier with you."
